Both Jacobs and Alvarez failed to do a Ray Leonard on Golovkin...fighting in short bursts and otherwise defending wasn't enough. But Golovkin declines a little with each fight and the decline will accelerate.

Charlo is a top opponent and may be in the right place at the right time. Sooner or later someone will be.

Doesn’t GGG have an IBF mandatory to take care of first? Then, if the Canelo rematch can’t get made because of financials (I think a 50-50 split is more than fair, Golovkin holds all the belts even though Canelo brings the numbers) Charlo is an easier fight anyway...

I like Golovkin very much but at his age every trip to the well, could be his last.

The 160 division is packed full of talent and sooner rather than later one of these guys is going to take his titles and emerge from the pack. Get your popcorn and make yourselves comfortable - there are some great match-ups ahead
