Mayweather, whilst a technically excellent boxer, was a huge negative force in attracting new fans to the sport. Worse still he created a business template that the likes of Alvarez and Joshua are now following which damages the sport even further.

Top rank should give away highlight footage of Crawford and Lomachenko to mainstream freeview channels in major territories. That will turn a new generation onto boxing.

That's far too good an idea for a sport as fxxed up as boxing to ever implement !
