Chisora please retire

At the moment, there’s only three fights there for him that intrigue me. Miller, Whyte and Joyce. I can’t see him stepping in with any other Brits unless Warren fancies paying him a couple of hundred K.

The three mentioned won’t box with Chisora, or at least won’t be able to, so they’ll end up being slugfests and that’s the only way Chisora has a chance. It’s also when he’s at his most entertaining.

Miller picking up the WBA Regular and defending against Chisora with the winner getting a shot at AJ makes the most sense for all parties imo. Miller beats Chisora and the Joshua fight sells well over here, Chisora wins and he's got 2 wins over top 15 HW under his belt and can be sold as a genuine test for Joshua. Maybe not as lucrative for Chisora as a Whyte rematch but I'm sure he could get a decent wedge from Eddie with all that DAZN money knocking about.

if del boy fights miller..........and survives millers early onslaughts then del has a great chance. Its impossible to be millers size and maintain a takam workrate for more than about 5 rounds.

Chisora should be looking to fight Manuel Charr. It's SO winnable and it would be great for Del Boy to own a "world" title, even if it's just a paper one. Failing that, Big Baby Miller.

I know he's taken some damage over the years but Chisora has always been a few sandwiches short of a picnic (a lot of people don't remember him biting one of his opponents at the start of his career) and, as much as I love him, he's never been the nicest of dudes (the domestic violence stuff) so I won't get upset over a few lost brain cells. He's so watchable... I'd hate to see him retire right now.

Even though Chisora just had a thrilling win, he’s regarded as a “gatekeeper” whereas Whyte - whom he was basically on level terms with, almost impossible to split, for me - is now regarded a “contender.”

Chisora’s certainly had a good career. Especially compared to the plodders of the previous era, Audley, Skelton, Sprott, Williams, who contested mostly awful fights. “Del Boy” should’ve been awarded the European title for his effort against prime Robert Helenius, in a damn good fight. Factor in the wins over Sexton, twice, in wars, the strong performance against Whyte - was this the best British heavyweight fight we’ve seen? - and capped off by a stoppage of Takam, and that’s an honourable career.

But people won’t forget his hooligan behaviour before being annihilated by Haye, letting Fury off the hook because he was too unfit to press the action (another damn good fight, nonetheless) & getting picked to pieces in a rematch. Given he challenged Haye and Vitali - losing honourably, this one - the perception is surely he’s already had his chance.

I don’t think he gets a fight with Joshua unless someone withdraws and he’s a late notice backup job. Whyte has the wins over Parker and the big lump Browne, who was highly rated in the WBA; and abviously the “rivalry” with Joshua, beating him in the amateurs & hurting him as a pro, before falling himself - is easier to manufacture, justify & sell.

I take it Bellew would go nowhere near Chisora? Would be great pantomime & wed see how Bellew takes a shot / boxes on the retreat. If, say, Bellew isn’t really serious about the great Usyk.

i like chis, think he gets it too negatively from a lot of ppl, ya hes lost a fair share, but 6 of his 8 losses were to guy whove been top 5 in the world at some point. vitali, haye, and fury included. then the helenius loss was a total robbery. really only the kaybayel loss stands out and even that was closs

i dont think hes any worse really then a guy like stiverne was
