This fights been a long time coming thankfully its just about here and its Groves in the final instead of Eubank Jr, Groves gave him a bit of boxing lesson last time out and it would've been a travesty if Groves wasn't in it, I thought Smith was a bit workmanlike against Holzken but there was no doubt he was a comfortable winner on the cards
This is a close close fight, I can see it going either way, both guys have great jabs and are clever fighters, Smith's been criticised a bit lately for looking flat but I still think he's been dominant, he maybe just needs to learn to go through the gears and try and get guys out of there but its a common trait with top level fighters
I'm going with Groves to win this though, he's probably stronger, had bagsful more experience and enough power to put guys away, both men punch well to the body, Smith does it well for a tall guy an also adept at fighting inside, Groves punching downstairs has become a potent weapon since teaming up with McGuigan as well
I'm expecting a cracking contest, Smith is definitely a live dog in this, Groves cant go to sleep on him but I'm going Groves points, I'm just hoping the shoulder holds up well
