In the Mojave desert eh? ... hmmm ... that oughta narrow it down
How do you think these bookies get to afford their Mercs and Rolls Royces? I agree though. Obviously they need to have a margin but that does seem more like a gulf than a margin.
Some more helpful hints: The city was founded by "Bugsy" Siegel, who also founded Murder Inc., and Meyer Lansky, the real Mafia cappo di tutti capi.
Quiz: Did Lansky and Siegel and their associates found the place so they could give the suckers an even break, like on slot machines, or sports betting, like on boxing?
Greedy fellows and gullible fellows make nice bedfellows. You can do a search for, wanna make lots of easy money? Become a bookie! Well show you how!
Las Vegas, Nevada Democratic senate minority leader, Harry Reid got the s kicked out of him by - he said - his rubberband exercise device. Hey they even call themself "sin city". You expect them to run, of all things, honest prize fighting? Please.
Sen. Harry Reid after Fat Louie and his crew - i mean his rubber band exerciser - beat him up.

We still don't exactly how good Joshua is,
Really? After his last 3 fights I think it is obvious he is a top level heavyweight.. Yes Pov is a world class fighter, but I don't think AJ's ability should be in question.
Surely you can't be suggesting that anything shady might be ccnnected to Las Vegas??? I'm shocked by you, really
Next you'll be telling me even a nice place like Chicago has witnessed unsavoury behaviour in the past.
Indeed am a shocking fellow, in more ways than one. Chicago is about ten million times more unsavory now than it was in Al Capone's (to whom i used to have a bit of a family connection by way of marriage) day. You can compare murder rates there today with what they were, say in 1929, the year of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. They are far higher now. Other violent crimes, like assault, robbery, rape, forgedaboudit. They are now off the charts. The old gangsters, parasites tho they were, mostly just annoyed - if you consider the noise from a Thompson sub machine gun annoying - each other.
I pretty much agree. Of course Usyk is a special fighter. I knew that the first time i saw him, tho i'm still sad that he cut off his cossack hairdo. It gives you extra power - like me! If he were to fight Joshua now - or say if GGG was to fight Joshua now - well there could be the unfairness of grossly mixing weight classes. The smaller man could just run away all night and throw an occasional potshot - exactly like Haye did to Valuev. If the ref again doesnt insist on the smaller faster man engaging, well then...
Luis - Usyk is much smaller than Povetkin. He fights under 200. How successful he'll be if he bulks up i can't say. Maybe yes maybe no. It is very stupid to call Povetkin fat etc. I think that you are so used to looking at roided up athletes - like Joshua for instance - that a natural looking man and athlete looks "chubby" to you. Take a look at what athletes, and even bodybuilders, looked like before the steroid age.
Yeah i also think that Usyk should keep his oseledets haircut

I want to see that movie
It's a Polish movie "With Fire and Sword" (Ogniem i Mieczem) based on Hernyk Sienkiewicz novels trilogy. It is the first part, the next ones are "The Deluge" (Potop) and "Fire in the Steppe" (Pan Wołodyjowski - literally means sir Wołodyjowski).

Usyk is not fighting under 200, he always looked drained at the weigh ins, easy 210, 212 in ring. Actually bigger frame than povetkin who's neither fat nor chubby, perfectly trained too, just different body-type, that crazy obsession of the youth with muscles & roided out physiques is a global epidemic, but who cares.

Have you used them successfully? it seems that you are in Europe. I'm only interested in boxing too, but I saw all the reviews about freezing and payment hassles, and some comments about how illegal streams actually work better. It sounds like just another boxing stream scam, like scam # ten million.
Here in Austria/Germany it's definitely legit, you buy the card for 9,99 in the store, with a password and an e-mail adress you can watch on your phone, tv wherever, the picture-quality was perfect, absoluty ZERO freezing, what pure delight it was compared to the shitty streams i had to endure before, never was willing to pay even 20€ for one fight, not to talk about 59$, or freakin 99! Fuckin rip-off! Can't imagine they can afford to scam people in the US? What do i know!? Nischta!

Povetkin is vulnerable to the uppercut and maybe too small to hurt AJ, although he throws a pretty good uppercut himself. Joshua catches him with something coming in...
I'm getting more excited as the fight approaches. and more nervous for AJ. Everyone is acting like it should be a walk in the park for Joshua 'he's younger and he's got all the physical advantages'. Yes he has, but he's not keen on fighting significantly shorter opposition - see what hard work he made of Takam - and Povetkin is a wiley old campaigner who knows all about nulliying his opponent's height and reach advantage, he's spent his career doing it, and he carries enough power to drop AJ should AJ get careless.
If I were Joshua I'd worry more about getting the job done, than providing thrills for the fans. He needs to box cautiously while making sure that Sasha is made to pay for each forward step he takes. Hard jabs from distance and uppercuts when Povetkin succeeds in closing the range.
Don't forget only a couple of years back a significant number on here were expecting Povetkin to crush Wilder. He is still potentially very dangerous and deserves respect.
The thing is - AJ for the second time in his career gonna fight an opponent that regards himself an A side, opponent that doesnt even consider losing in this fight, opponent that is used to prevail in competitive matches. Povetkin will never give up.
Five years ago, similar height and weight difference, vs. a peak Wladimir - and remember that a semi retired Wladimir had a peak Joshua out on his feet but let him get away! This Povetkin fight was Wlad's most disgraceful fight ever. He should have been dq'd for wrestling and hanging on like an octopus.
My prediction: Vityaz man by KO round four.
But applause to both Joshua and Povetkin for behaving like gentleman sportsmen! So refreshing, for a change.
aj should win this handily. maybe pov catches him at some point and shakes him up just a bit for a moment, but to me thats the realistic 'best case' for pov. hes still a solid fighter but ajs another league.
