This is a goddamn boxing forum and people think an inactive guy who lost his last fight should be just handed the title of "World Heavyweight Champion" (crap version or not, it would go into history books) without throwing a single punch

Absolute fcking clowns here.
I just want him to fight any top 25 fighter to get rid of him. This has drug on long enough
It is beyond a joke now. Now it is just pathetic
Someone pitched the idea of matching him with Trevor Bryan the "Interim" Champion to crown a Regular Champion...that seems sensible enough to me.

Bryan would beat his ass, and that'd be the end of it.
Worst thing I can think of is Oquendo shocks the world and wins.
I would go in to hiding as much crap as I've posted

Meh. It wouldn't bother me that much. It'd be a terrible comment on Trevor Bryan, and his skill level though.

If I'm ever wrong, no matter how much sh*t I've talked I just own it.

For instance, when Chris Arreola vs Bermane Stiverne 1 was coming up. I was 100% sure that Arreola was going to beat the sh*t out of Stiverne, and said so on NUMEROUS occasions. When the fight ended, I just posted a gif of a guy going up for a Slam Dunk in Basketball, and it bouncing off the rim

Because that's basically how I felt about that. I was 100% sure "I got this, I can't be wrong"...like a guy that's about to go for a slam dunk, but I was wrong.

Hey if you can't laugh at yourself ya know

I've made so many bad predictions I'm used to it.
But when I talk so much crap I get a lil embarrassed

Well the WBC have Champion Emeritus, no reason why the WBA shouldn’t create Champion Exspectans for Oquendo...

"Jarrell Miller To Fight For WBA 'Regular' Title, Says Salita"

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller (21-0-1, 18 KOs) is going to fight for a world title in his next fight, according to his co-promoter Dmitry Salita.

Miller is back in action this coming Saturday night, when he faces former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago

If Miller wins, as many expect he will, Salita indicates that his next fight will have the WBA "regular" heavyweight title at stake.

The contest will be carried by the streaming service, DAZN.

The WBA "regular" champion was Manuel Charr, who was scheduled to make a mandatory defense against Fres Oquendo.

But the news broke that Charr failed a pre-fight drug test, and the contest with Oquendo was canceled.

Now Miller finds himself in line to fight Oquendo for the vacant title.

Oquendo has been out of the ring since 2014, choosing to wait for his WBA shot.

Salita is hoping that Miller vs. Oquendo will happen in December of this year.

"He is the mandatory, 100 percent," Salita explained to Sky Sports.

"It's up to the WBA to designate a fighter who he will fight for the WBA 'regular' title but we anticipate it being Fres Oquendo.

"It's huge that Jarrell will have a chance to fight for the world title - Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe are great champions from Brooklyn so it will be a huge day for boxing when a fighter with the skills and personality of Jarrell Miller brings a world title back to New York City. We hope [to fight for the WBA 'regular' title] in December."

In order to get to Oquendo and the WBA belt, especially for a December date, Miller will have to put away Adamek with no setbacks - like suffering an injury or a cut.

Salita added: "Jarrell is focused on making a statement, and ending this fight early. He wants to get rid of this guy."

I have only just realised that the age of Miller's opponents has slowly been gradually creeping up over the past 2 years from 35 up to 45 by the end of this year. Mansour, Guillermo Jones and Shannon Briggs next?

Either way, the quicker the WBA can get an opponent for Oquendo the better whether it's Miller or Bryan it doesn't matter. So if Miller can get it scheduled first then atleast that's a step in the right direction for this insignificant but obstructive belt.
