I love Eddie, no promoter in the 40 plus years I've followed the sport has shown entire cards in the States. Dazn is a massive bargain at 9.99. about 10 years ago I was spending about $80 a month on boxing.

Seriously. I talked a ton of crap about Hearn in the past. But I am 100% behind this DAZN deal.

The lad could become the most powerful man in boxing, outside of the ropes. Big player, globally.

Back around 06 & 07 my cable bills would run about 300 pounds a month with hbo, Showtime and ppvs with boxing, UFC & pride!

Regards Eddie , most not all but most fathers, who build a buisness , leave it to the offsprings who then totally destroy it , Eddie was put in charge of a great buisness , and turned it into a bigger better buisness , good on him , I know he talks a lot of shite but thats his job , he is also quite honest and forthwrite at times , and does know his boxing as well has the buisness side , personally i think he does a great job , and i do believe that he does care about making his boxers good money , unlike others who write cheques that don't cash ect ect ,,, but with saying that it does'nt seem to be all his boxers more the ones who are good for his buisness , but heh no different than any other buisnessman , after all buisness is buisness ,

Regards PPV ,Daz , whatever its called , well they will even out , personaly i can never understand why the yanks would pay so much for anything they pay for , but that allows Daz to come in with a different format and possibly take over , then they will increase prices because thats buisness , and someone else will come and take there spot , the world evolves , but it always comes down to one thing in the end , affordability , Give it 10 years Daz will probably be on top , Eddie will of been outed in favor of a yank , and probably matchroom and Eddie will launch another format , Its just rich buisnesses playing with ways to supply the entertainment and grab your money , just enjoy it while you can , and pay for the good fights I do , and stream of the net or watch u tube for the rest you think are piss takers , example Dillan Whyte fights .

Dillan may think he's a ppv star but personaly i don't , so i would'nt buy ppv to see him Canelo - GGG NO PROBLEM , , bELLOW AND A SHOT hAYE , NO WAY did i buy it , to be honest don't even know if it was available where i live i never checked , But the moral of the story , don't like don't buy , if they fail , promoters won't spend the money again , they will just tell Dillan , your not worth your demands , drop your price and have a stadium fight , supply and demand thats all it is , and Eddie is doing a great job of creating a demand we did'nt know we want , and then supplying it ,

That my freinds is called GREAT BUISNESS , if i was his dad i'd be proud has punch for what he's done with matchroom , He's still a priviliged rich twat , who likes to hang with the street kids though :OhYes:

I am amazed that Sky cannot see the writing on the wall and have allowed Matchroom to become so big that they have actually trained and built the organisation which could destroy them.

He has hinted that the UK market will change to streaming (obviously it will) and DAZN will launch and compete with Sky and BT. Many of his interviews should ring alarm bells for the bosses of SKY.

They have fed and fattened the animal enough to make it strong enough to turn on its master.

I doubt Sky are too concerned - they already have a profitable streaming service in NOW TV so they’ve already got the structure in place to compete when things move fully online. They’re just milking the satellite aspect for as long as they possibly can.

Generally Hearn is very good for boxing, cause he makes good shows, but still he doesn't avoid the todays' global problems like hometown corruption and marinading biggest fights.

There's defo been a lot of funny scoring on Matchroom shows, whether it just seems that way just because Eddie puts on far more shows than anyone else I don't know but what I do know is that 90% of these poor scores are from International judges who are brought over and I'm sure even Hearn gets embarrassed by them, some of these imbeciles brought in by the ABCs and the EBU are plain awful

Totally agree about the scoring and it does make you wonder some times , but I think you have hit the nail on the head about the amount of shows they do , good to see the Ritson fight scored correctly and I feared the worst with such a partisan crowd .

I think he does. I think the booing does bother him somewhat. He always looks a little flustered when it's mentioned to him in interviews.

Don't get me wrong, I think he cares more about his businesses succeeding still, but I do think Eddie wants to be loved lol.

He should stop slagging people off then, especially old boys who have been in the business since he was a spunk bubble.
