Problem is, Fury lacks the ring intelligence to change things up, and continued with the same tactic since the second round. I think Pulev is EBU level, so Fury might not even be at that level.

Pulev was Euro level years ago. He’s above that. You have to think the Euro guys now.

Even them are tough fights. But not as experienced as Pulev.

guys on the ebu scene now are guys like kabayel, wallin, rovcanin , granat, faded helenius, a faded dimitrenko who pulev dominated and stopped years ago, etc. chisora fought for the ebu less then a year ago too, and of course pulev handily beat chisora as well

id say pulev is not an elite fighter but still easily world top 10 and above ebu level

That was absolute aids that, I had Pulev 117-111, terrible fight, both guys were awful and their timing and accuracy was minging, Hughie reminds me of Bugner, decent skillset but just hasn't got whats required to step it up when needed, bad start getting cut like that from a jab, on the eyelid too that's usually a finisher straight away but it held up well, where was Shades of Ali? zero jab just holding out the left all night and throwing piss poor predictable right hands over the top which sailed over the heads of Pulev just about every time although he did hurt him in the 8th with it, missed with about 100 others, lay on the ropes too much trying to draw Pulev in but as I said far too predictable, the holding from both men was relentless, every single exchange finished with a hug

Messy as fvck as well Pulev's punches landed weren't all that either but he was seen to be pressing, the ref was shite, the camera cutaways mid round were disgraceful, just a shite fight all round, Fury's tactics and timings were non existent, Joshua will smash Pulev to smithereens

This is how I saw it. Shite fight. Hughie offered nothing other than those telegraphed overhand rights then ended in a clinch. I understand that he's young in HW terms but if he hasn't learned to throw a proper straight right hand by now (or a jab of any description) then I can't see him progressing beyond European level. Losing to Pulev is no disgrace, he's a top 10 HW - but that performance showed a number of serious shortcomings.

He was the opposite in this. Looked heavy, used hardky zero movement and just kept winging in in-accurate lazy right hands.

That's what tall fighters do that are too scared to throw the jab. They use it to judge the distance against a shorter opponent.

Seen it a million times but they never break the habit. Just go watch one of Audley Harrison's fights and you'll see another example of it.

This average was lower than the Sexton fight, which was a stoppage in half way through the fight. The Sexton fight also peaked 2.9m viewers.

An average fight on regular Sky averaged around 300k, and that’s Khan, Brook etc.

AJ would easily get over 1 million views on regular Sky and probably nearly 10 million on Channel 5.

the 1.4 figure is a weekly channel viewing of Sky Sports Box Office channel, so that figure would likely be the people that bought it and then anyone of them that tuned in to the replays.

That's interesting. How many buys do you think WIlder-Fury will do on BT? I can't see it doing more than 250k.
