100% agree with all of this. I thought one of the main reasons to entice customers to pay extra for a service like this was no ads.jujigatame wrote: ↑28 Oct 2018, 12:08 ESPN+ is really not great. It's cheaper, so that's nice. But the fact that they put commercials in a pay service is BS. And the site is less well organized, I've noticed that sometimes replays aren't available for some time after the fight is over, or that they've been edited to remove undercard bouts.
They showed the corners at the end of the 10th and 11th rounds. The rest were filled with the same stupid commercial. I love to hear the instruction in between rounds and then see how the boxer takes the advice. Most trainers have plans as the fight progresses and I find it entertaining to be inside the action. Those days are over apparently so I best get used to it I guessRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Oct 2018, 11:41Every corner break? Unless anything significant happens in the first few rounds. I know broadcasters in UK, Channel 5, Sky Sports and BT usually show ads. Until the half way point. They start showing corner work.
I prefer listening in too.caldo2025 wrote: ↑29 Oct 2018, 09:13They showed the corners at the end of the 10th and 11th rounds. The rest were filled with the same stupid commercial. Well i live in the Netherlands so unfortunately these channels are not on the cable :(sweetviolenturge wrote: ↑25 Oct 2018, 04:24What about cable? Do you have access to ESPN & FS1? What about Showtime & HBO ( which, of course, will no longer be necessary come January )?mrdonleon wrote: ↑24 Oct 2018, 22:15 Back in the day i used too download most of the stuff. I always said that when the price is right i am willing to pay.
Right now i have Netflix for the movies, Spotify for the music and i am now in love with DAZN & ESPN+. This is just a new era, the streaming era. And i love it. The montly subscription gives the fan so much great content for a lower price. This is way better then a 75 dollar pay per view!
I don't mean to pry, I'm just curious. Because I'm the sort of nut that needs access to it all & I like to gauge whether other fans are more like me or less. Peace.

If they jack the price up there will be more content so i dont know if that is a bad thing. Pretty similar too what Netflix is doing.
