What if David Haye fought Tyson Fury in 2014?
How would the fight go if two ended up fighting?
For David’s sake, I’ll rule out any injuries before or during the fight.
Who wins this?

I really wanted this to happen.
Re: What if David Haye fought Tyson Fury in 2014?
Fury would have outboxed him. Could have been a bit similar to Wlad-Haye fight.

You have ruled out the most likely scenario; Fury stepping on Haye’s toe.OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 15:08 How would the fight go if two ended up fighting?

An injured shoulder...? David Haye ain’t the guy to go running scared — did you see him in his prime?!guysecretan wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 15:16 Fury with ease why do you think Haye wimped out of fighting him?

I am certain that there are multiple members of this forum who were not out of primary school at that time.OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 16:51An injured shoulder...? Ah, I see. Well in that case I’ll just say he was “very good”. Hopefully they’ll believe me over his latest performances against Tony Bellew.ironbeard wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 16:58I am certain that there are multiple members of this forum who were not out of primary school at that time.OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 16:51An injured shoulder...? That’s what I like to see! A lot of people thinking Fury would take Haye the full twelve, or even K.O him, which just seems so unlikely.
Re: What if David Haye fought Tyson Fury in 2014?
Tyson, he looked a lot younger in those days.
Re: What if David Haye fought Tyson Fury in 2014?
In 2014 Fury would have utterly flustered Haye. I give David the benefit of the doubt having him last the entire fight. It is far more likely that he would have quit with an injury or Fury beats him down late.OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 17:17That’s what I like to see! If you would’ve properly read the description of the post you would’ve noticed I wrote, “no injuries before or during the fight”.ironbeard wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 17:36In 2014 Fury would have utterly flustered Haye. OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 17:42So you’d give him the win because he looks ‘young’?
Any further reasons?

Haye was a walking injury for most of the last decade.

How is it ridiculous that I’m trying to make a fair fight? Haye was already prone to injuries around this time so — almost undoubtedly considering he’d have to spring off to hit Fury — he probably end up damaging his Achilles or other injuries. Simply trying to make a fair fight, or a more entertaining fight, you may say.ironbeard wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 18:37OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 17:43If you would’ve properly read the description of the post you would’ve noticed I wrote, “no injuries before or during the fight”.I acknowledged your ridiculous parameters in my first post. That is why I chose Fury UD. I also think that it would be far more likely that Fury would stop Haye than the opposite.

If you were trying to make it a fair fight with a 2014 Fury, you should have matched him against a circa 2008 Haye. That would make an interesting discussion.

That would have been a terrific fight. I think that Haye would have won a close decision on the strength of a couple of KDs.OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 18:54Okay then, just for you, who would win between 2014 Tyson Fury and 2008 David Haye?ironbeard wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 18:50OH_RickNMorty wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 18:40

Given no injuries for Haye, I'd give him a fair chance of winning a decision over the Gypsy King.
