Fighting Tom Farrell this weekend.
Re: Sean Dodd
Good luck to Sean for this one. I remember when he showed off his Commonwealth and WBC International belts at Prenton Park before a playoff semi a couple of years back. No prizes for guessing which one he kept hold of and which one he allowed the mascot to carry...
Re: Sean Dodd
Always thought when he was going through a purple spell that he warranted bigger fights...eg ebu and maybe eliminators for titles
Re: Sean Dodd
Particularly the EBU, given that Patera picked it up shortly after Dodd had edged him over 10. Would have been a good rematch back then.

He overachieved as is...a light hitter who had been brutalized by Andy Townsend and really did not have any particular notable natural abilities. Just a hard worker basically. In his last few fights his results came back down to where you'd expect a guy like that to be operating, though fair play for a while he had a nice run...

Actually it is a bit of a compliment in a way that with effort he over achieved and had a really good purple patch in his career that locals will remember
