I like that Miller is active.
Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
He does look insistent to go down the WBA Regular route to get a shot at AJ but it looks as if Charr v Oquendo will be back on at some point so possibly Trevor Bryan for the Interim WBA Regular belt? however, Bryan did turn down the fight that Dinu took but it was on fairly short notice.
If not him then maybe someone who is lower in the WBA rankings like Carman. Also, Joyce is ranked 9th and that would be a very good scrap to watch but i think Miller would be reluctant to take it. But the most likely of the ranked WBA guys that ticks all the boxes for Miller.... Gullermo Jones, ranked 14th
Hunter would be a good fight but i think he's too much of a threat for Miller to accept it. I also think Hearn has his own plans for him.
My outside bet, Marco Huck.

This looks plausible. Similar to Dinu in that he had a good amateur career, has done nothing since and has aged a bit.

I think it's time for MIller to step up already. He talks pretty good. Need some feasible measurement of where he's at.joshj909 wrote: ↑10 Dec 2018, 07:11 He does look insistent to go down the WBA Regular route to get a shot at AJ but it looks as if Charr v Oquendo will be back on at some point so possibly Trevor Bryan for the Interim WBA Regular belt? however, Bryan did turn down the fight that Dinu took but it was on fairly short notice.

Yeah, like Wilder was, with his first 34 fights
There is active, and there is standing at a taxi rank smacking the turbins off the drivers waiting in line.
Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
But he's already working his way through the top ten and beating them all one by one.
And when he's finished with Poland he'll fight his way through another country's top ten
Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
Poland? What about Adam Kownacki? He ain't even plumbed the depths of Poland's HW's, they just dragged some old bloke out of the care home for a beat down without his meds
Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
He wouldn't take on Kownacki, Kownacki can fight ... er, I mean Kownacki is a pal
Seriously, I like Miller but I wish he were a little more ambitious. If he shared my belief in him, he would be taking on the toughest guys around instead of ancient cruiserweights and former fringe-contenders

if he wants to fight a Polish fighter once again then i would like to see Miller vs Ugonoh
unfortunately it's impossible now as Ugonoh is scheduled to fight Demirezen in march

i guess that Miller will face one of those fighters:
Robert Helenius
Otto Wallin
Dillon Carman
Alexander Dimitrenko
David Allen
Andrey Fedosov
Adrian Granat

Miller needs to step up and face a top HW. At the very least top 15. Better a top 5-10. Pulev is my choice for next fight.

Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
Ugonoh seems to be lacking in stamina. I don't see Ugonoh v Miller as a great deal more competitive than Adamek v Miller and probably no more so than Wach v Miller.dagilechia wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 04:36if he wants to fight a Polish fighter once again then i would like to see Miller vs Ugonoh![]()

Exactly. Miller should have taken the Pulev fight. It would have meant travelling to Sofia, and the payday wasn't going to be spectacular, but I think after eating a load of jabs he'd have overwhelmed Pulev and put a target-lock on Joshua.
I sometimes suspect he's more interested in fighting Charr than Joshua.

Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
yes you are probably right but at least Ugonoh would probably land some big punches in the early rounds and would test Miller's chin. but who knows, maybe this time Ugonoh would have different smarter plan and will try to use his superior reach.candyslim wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 03:49Ugonoh seems to be lacking in stamina. Would not be happy with any of them because we know he beats them all.dagilechia wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 04:58 i guess that Miller will face one of those fighters:

On second thought, Wallin would be acceptable because he’s got a win against Granat and is still unbeaten.dagilechia wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:56i wouldn't be happy as well but that's what we will most likely get.TheGingerBomber wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:55Would not be happy with any of them because we know he beats them all.dagilechia wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 04:58 i guess that Miller will face one of those fighters:

yes he's probably the best choice out of that list but seems he's not a big puncher and except of Granat he has faced only bums. he's maybe not much better than Bogdan Dinu.TheGingerBomber wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 09:00On second thought, Wallin would be acceptable because he’s got a win against Granat and is still unbeaten.dagilechia wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:56TheGingerBomber wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:55

Less than 6 weeks away. No way is it anyone of credibility. I seriously doubt any of the names mentioned will be his opponentTheGingerBomber wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 09:00On second thought, Wallin would be acceptable because he’s got a win against Granat and is still unbeaten.dagilechia wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:56i wouldn't be happy as well but that's what we will most likely get.TheGingerBomber wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 08:55

I'm sure it will be a card full of riveting 50-50 style matchups.

DAZN better start putting some good fights on or I'm going to cancel my subscription with them.
Re: Hearn planning DAZN show on Jan.18 with Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller headlining
Albeit not his fault lately due to nobody wanting to fight him this year, Pulev has not fought many risky opponents, especially not for a while. And the AJ fight makes him a hell of a lot of money that he won't be able to work his way back up tonif he loses. I'm not convinced.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 11:36 Pulev will be fighting decent opposition for his next fight according to Arum.. so he will be risking it.

Arum said he wanted Pulev to have a tough fight in In Spring. He said what’s the point in going into the AJ fight and getting annihilated.. which is true. He needs a true test and needs to know he’s at the top of his game before going into the AJ fight..joshj909 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 13:34Albeit not his fault lately due to nobody wanting to fight him this year, Pulev has not fought many risky opponents, especially not for a while. This is all just words right now though. He might fight a name that might not be able to cause him problems. Gotta be better than Samuel Peter and ‘safety pin’ Johnson.

My guess is something like Joey Dawejko, Fedosov or a rematch with Dimitrenko. I hope i'm proven wrong.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 13:50 Arum said he wanted Pulev to have a tough fight in In Spring.
