God? Are you listening?

Post by caldo2025 »

I know that this is an odd request especially around Christmas and with your birthday coming up and all but can I just ask you for one thing? Please let Canelo lose tonight. Somehow...someway. I don’t need to list all of the criminal scorecards he’s recieved or the fact that Canelo is a prefabricated marketing plan. The sport doesn’t need any more of these. A loss against Rocky tonight will do away with this farce once and for all and we can find a new deserving face for the sport where there are way more deserving talents right now.

Canelo was just dancing in his dressing room. God, did you see that? Please. I’m begging you.

Oh please. Don't be a whiner.

Canelo is the Face of Boxing. It's His Era. Canelo bring excitement and charisma to a sport that badly needs his sizzle.

Canelo puts boxing in page 1 instead of buried in the agate type. Be grateful

I'm so tired of all this constant childish "Canelo is a bad boy and a cheater. And Golden Boy sucks too" crap.

It all smacks of jealousy. Envy. The guy is a fantastic fighter. He's rich and wildly successful. Women find him hot beyond belief.

Canelo Alvarez has everything. Boxing should thank the Lord and all his disciples that he exists. On a daily basis.

He's going to be around for a long long time. Sit back and enjoy the ride instead of looking for ways to discredit this amazing athlete.

You probably hate Ryan Garcia too.

Good thing you're not God!

There would be a LOT of changes if I was!

But I'll just settle for a convincing Canelo win.

Convicted PED user and fraudulous scorecards. You Mexicans don’t care how you get there ha? Good to know. Now screw. Or as you would say “vamanos”? Or is it “taco supreme”? I failed Spanish twice. Both years didn’t take as long as your dumb national anthem though.

Shit, God could come down and only manage a SD loss against him. The scorecards for his fights are ridiculous. It could be argued that Trout, Lara, and Golovkin (x2) have already beat him.

Golovkin, imo, beat Alvarez twice. In the first fight he outfought and outmuscled him, but inevitably took some incoming from Alvarez. For the second fight he adapted, outboxed him, got tagged considerably less -- but Alvarez got the decision presumably on the grounds that he was coming forward for much of the bout. GGG got robbed on both occasions, and now as he's 36 we'll never get to see just how great he might have been.

Exactly, crooked Vegas judges will always find "reasons" to not hand a loss to a cash cow unless it ends a fight face down.

Saunders would definitely beat him, they won't let him near him, now that he lost his wbo-belt even more so.

Jacobs would beat him, but would have to knock him out to get the decision.

Charlo, Andrade, Lemieux would be good fights as would ramirez, benavidez & brant be at smw.

He will not fight smith.

Gods sick of your sht caldo. How many times have you complained unreasonably, wasting your prayers on the Bermaine Stivernes and Chavez Jrs of this world. If you’d be more selective God would have listened to you this time. You’re to blame for this Canelo being the face of boxing situation. Jackass.

I mean this out of curiosity, since I haven’t watched every single second of Danny Jacobs’ three bouts since his moderately controversial loss against GGG, but has the “Miracle Man” consistently delivered impressive performances in the 21 months that have transpired since he suffered his most recent defeat?

Danny Jacobs is on the cusp of turning 32 years of age and he’s so physically big that his age may make it extremely challenging for him to make the 160lbs weight limit.

I could be wrong, because I’ve only ever seen a handful of Danny Jacobs’ bouts, but there’s every possibility that the "prime" version of the “Miracle Man” that we saw face GGG no longer exists. So I think he can be competitive with Canelo, but he might be too old and weight-drained to upset the Mexican.

I feel that Danny Jacobs is capable of enjoying a lengthy reign of his IBF championship, as long as he’s the recipient of beneficial circumstance and selective matchmaking, but there are levels… And I don’t think he can beat Canelo unless he is able to enter the ring at his 100% prime. And I’m not entirely sure if he’s able to do that anymore.

I think he's top fit. I don't know shit, but i'd favour jacobs to decision canelo, if so just slightly, if fairly judged in a fight, if not held at 160 then at 167.

And of course no shady rehydration clauses tailormade for one fighter. I'm sorry but that shit was soo fuckin unnecessary & cowardly, just embarrassing shit. I'm sure the idea dodn't come from canelo himself, but that he accepted it is bad enough.
