I'd back Smith to beat Canelo.

Quite.
If he was fighting DeGale, Benavidez, Zurdo or for a vacant belt it would be ok.
Good luck to Fielding, but he's won the "you're a decent International fighter in the Top 10" belt.
Not eve "a" belt. :brick: :witzend:

True. It just amuses me that the pom gets a bigger cheer in the US for just attending than the American did.

I can see Canelo beating a lot of SMWs if they overrate their size advantages and go in too hard, but Smith really is that much bigger, and his fundamentals are solid when he doesn't get dragged into a brawl.

Fielding looks like a League One footballer. The kind of guy you'd see playing for one of the Bristol clubs. Still, best of luck to the lad!

It is amazing. Fury ended up being the bigger media story. Now Wilder is sounding like a whining brat who just unwrapped his Christmas gift and got underwear.

Because the champ lost his belt when he signed on the bottom line.

So Smith, who went in an underdog, beats one George Groves , and you're convinced that makes him a sure thing to beat Canelo Alvarez?

Canelo will finish his career recognized as one of Mexico's greatest fighters. And Mexico has had some great great fighters.

Callum Smith will likely be a little remembered footnote in boxing lore.

Canelo is a superb technician in the ring. He will dismantle Rocky shortly and win another world title.

He would also dismantle Callum. The same way Canelo did his brother when he was only half the fighting machine he is today.

Remember..

You have to score Canelo fights with 3 judges.

1st judge - Your actual score
2nd judge - Your score with a firm bias to Canelo from the crowd and 'preferring his style"
3rd judge - Canelo has to be enucleated to lose a round.

WHY DOES SMITH ALWAYS HAVE TO SHOUT?! IS IT BECAUSE HE'S JONESING TO SMACK SOMEONE?

Also, no Adam — we haven't forgotten about that boar. Or any uncastrated boars, for that matter. Canelo IS a superstar, but it's open to opinion whether he's popular outside of Mexico.
