Just saying, Tony Mundine (from my early days) had a pretty fair career. 80-15-1. Saw him fight Monzon in 1974.

Tony Mundine was a better fighter than his son but unfortunately, he was caught between middleweight and light-heavyweight in the days before super-middleweight and getting down to middle drained him and cost him some big fights. His chin was also let him down in those fights. Nevertheless, he beat a lot of good men and possessed fine boxing skills and a real dig.

Billy "Dynamite" Douglas was Buster's dad, a man who wasn't as talented as Buster but more dedicated and determined.

Mundine and Douglas are two guys who fit the thread title to a tee, but not if it is expanded to suggest they were actually better fighters.
