I still don’t get why people were so happy about Boxing moving to streaming and HBO cancelling Boxing from their menu. Now this is what we’re going to see. Mediocre matchups on PPV will become the norm even after paying streaming fees with DAZN and ESPN etc. so far there’s what? 5 PPV fights on schedule so far and we are only halfway through January? PPV plus streaming subscription fees are going to make this the most expensive year to be a Boxing fan by far. I get paid well so I don’t care much about paying for my Boxing entertainment but the whole principle behind it gets me a bit salty. If we already pay streaming fees for what is supposed to be great entertainment, why are they now doubling up on bouts they claimed would be part of the subscription?

I get what youre saying but think the PPV model is just on its lasts legs. Between Mobdro and WoWTV its been years since I paid for a PPV card and I dont think ive missed one. It sucks because theres always a risk of the feed being taken down but theres just too many ways around paying $60.

The streaming services make more sense. Ive paid and canceled DAZN a couple of times already, same with ESPN. With this new model the only way I would end up paying $60 in a month for boxing would be 6 different streaming apps having great cards on the same month. Very unlikely at this time.

Dazn & ESPN+ cost the same as HBO combined and show way more fights. Lol, really stupid post. ESPN+ has a ppv main event caliber UFC on Sat. All this is going to save me hundreds once got is over and I drop HBO.

So if you’re paying the same dollar amount per year (HBO vs. DAZN/ESPN+) and there Is now going to be a million PPV Cards for mediocre matchups like Crawford/Khan on up to the great fights like (Wilder/Fury I) then how are you not paying much more? Do the laws of mathematics not exist in your household?

There was ONE boxing PPV Event here in the USA last year if I’m not mistaken (Can/GGG). There’s already 3 signed, sealed and delivered for 2019. $74.99 for Pac/Broner. Not sure yet if the others. It’s January so we’re going to at least double what’s already on the schedule, maybe more than that even.

But for arguments sake, let’s just say that the final count is 6 total PPV events at $70 a pop. That’s an additional $420. You and I will pay AT LEAST $589 this year for Boxing.

Last year, you paid $234 for HBO and the one PPV card of Can/GGG II.

Canelo is part of my dazn subscription. HBO costs more than dazn. Canelo ppvs cost more than 9.99(which includes several other cards). Are you getting it now sugar plum? Dillishaw/cejudo is on esp+, that's worth more than 4.99 on its own. Get out your calculator. I don't need one. You'd love my checkbook kid.

We had that too. We used to have ppvs almost biweekly 10 years ago. No doubt these streaming prices will go up at some point, but $15 a month for full cards from two networks and mma is awesome. We've never had full cards here before this. I'm definitely not buying PAC/broner.

Multiple sources have confirmed to BS.com that the Terence Crawford-Amir Khan welterweight title fight will take place at “The World’s Most Famous Arena” on April 20. Crawford-Khan will headline an ESPN Pay-Per-View card that night from the iconic New York venue.

Promoter Bob Arum chose Madison Square Garden over MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas as the site for Crawford-Khan.

It will be a great fight. I dare to say that they are the 2 fighters with the fastest hands of current boxing in its category. The doubt would be Khan's jaw which is very fragile, but Crawford has never faced a Boxer with the technique and speed of khan . AND PENDANTS OF THE FIGHT THAT I DID TO THE CANELO, UNTIL THE MOMENT OF THE KO TO MY LOOK WAS WINNING the fight. I predict for this fight from my point of view khan will surprise the world . but it will not hold the title for long.
