It might not, in fact it probably isn't her that is making the 8 million number, it will be her lawyer.
They always come in high, then settle lower outside court, or don't, and go to trial if they think the evidence won't stand up.
Lawyers are in the same category as estate agents and car salesman, as in utter money grabbing soulless scumbags, and they use the same financial negotiating tactics.
Sorry to all the lawyers, estate agents and car salesmen out there- but you know what you are...

If she indeed suffered these injuries, what on earth would his defense be???

Frankly, 4 years seems lenient.

I would claim the opposite. There are a few exceptions, my daughter in law is a lawyer and I think still has a soul, but I don't ever argue with her :shame:

Where’s EO now? The sad pathetic soul has nothing left. I thought shutting him up would feel great but this is way better than I thought.

Is Kovalev going to win this rematch with Eleider Alvarez? He's a betting underdog.

Let’s not get arguments between posters get in the way of this comedic gem - The next morning, Jamie claims she saw Kovalev crawl out of the bushes near her cabin, and he yelled her name. The image of Kovalev spending the night passed out in a bush is wonderful

He tried to dive in her bush, instead spent the night in the bushes.

Shakespeare got it right in Henry VI when one of the characters said, "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers". That will include most politicians who are mostly lawyers.

I shouldn't comment on the charges against Kovalev because I wasn't there and I don't know what, if anything, happened, but i looked at the facebook page of the young lady in question and she looks like eight miles of bad road.

See her facebook page photo. Nice looking horse. But she doesn't look like a cowgirl horse woman. She looks more like a professional, if you know what I mean.

Also, I am open to the idea that Sergey Kovalev is indeed possibly guilty of the alleged crime.

Similarly, I am also willing to consider that the alleged victim could simply be another opportunistic vulture seeking to exploit an opportunity to gain instant wealth by capitalising on a situation involving an innocent celebrity multi-millionaire.

Look at the description he applies to the woman, the victim. Nothing negative to the accused who has a history of demeaning attitudes towards women. EO, you are a joke. Claim whatever you want to but your comments tell us all that we need to know.

classic EO, just look at all the redundant excessive words there to try and emphasise his point...except this time he's doing it by accident whilst as usual pretending objectivity
I am completely open to the idea of A being true.

I also can not rule out that B is desperately living a vile lie - conniving to cheat us all of everything that is good - in typical, craven B fashion, AGAIN. Because that's what B always does.

Not very subtle is he

No i did not. She was standing in a dark store doorway so I couldn't see her very well, and about 25 or 30 young ladies on the same street had already asked me the same question.

Whatever happened to Sergey Kovalev’s felony assault charge, with the preliminary hearing scheduled for the 14th March? Also, what became of the corresponding $8m lawsuit against Krusher that was filed by the alleged felony assault victim, Jamie Frontz?

Has Sergey Kovalev paid her off, because on her Twitter account, Jamie Frontz keeps labouring over the fact that she’s in a really good place in her life right now and hasn’t mentioned Krusher’s name since the 31st January?

If Sergey was cleared of any wrongdoing, wouldn’t Kathy Duva, Krusher himself, Top Rank & ESPN be doing their upmost to boast about his innocence, since they'd need to repair his damaged reputation?

The silence seems strange to me. It strongly implies a payoff if we never hear about this story ever again.

From the 1 and only 1 lawsuit I filed. I was instructed I could not discuss the case who I was suing why I was suing or the fact we settled out of court.

Are you saying Kovalev has very likely settled out-of-court with Jamie Frontz? I'm surprised the press hasn't picked-up on this.

My lawsuit took 18 months before settling.
