After watching Usman/Woodley you would be hard pressed to find someone more active than Usman was over 5 rounds. Imo, him and Colby are equal in that dept. Not sure where you can site Colby outworking Usman's work against Tyron.Tinnie wrote: ↑07 Mar 2019, 05:15Honestly i'm not sure without going over their fights.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 23:39You think Colby is the better striker?Tinnie wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 21:24Colby definitely has a better gas tank imo. Usman is a massive guy. Colby's cardio will only be a factor if he can keep it standing for the good portion of the match, and that in itself has it's own risks.Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 20:52If anyone has the cardio to hang with Usman it's Colby. He might even have better cardio than Usman.
I think Colby has a higher work rate and output... and footwork... also I think he has more variety with the hands...... Usman is much more measured.... but very dangerous.... crazy power....
On the ground all Usman...
Lean towards Usman lol

Re: MMA
I just looked up stats and I was wrong about them being equal. Usman landed over 3x more strikes against Woodley while controlling him better than Covington did against RDA. So, according to stats, Usman outworks Colby by a longshot.
Re: MMA
I am happy to stand corrected, but I think its worth noting that Usman used a lot of g'n'p against Woodley.... where as Colby/RDA was more or less entirely on the feet of memory serves me correctly.... I think that could put some context to those stats?......Impractical Poster wrote: ↑07 Mar 2019, 15:14 I just looked up stats and I was wrong about them being equal. I'd have to revisit the RDA fight. But according to stats, Colby had 7 takedown to Usman's 2. I remember Usman landing a buttload of body shots while grinding Tyron along the fence.Tinnie wrote: ↑07 Mar 2019, 18:14I am happy to stand corrected, but I think its worth noting that Usman used a lot of g'n'p against Woodley.... where as Colby/RDA was more or less entirely on the feet of memory serves me correctly.... Crap, was kinda hoping for Aldo/Ortega.
Re: MMA
Wouldnt be suprised if Ortega was still on the mend and is in line to fight the winner, possibly for the title if Holloway decides to vacate it. Not sure there is anyone else for him to really fight atm, with the exception of possibly Zabit.

I'm leaning towards Till. But, Masvadol is legit. He's one of my favorite fighters and very well rounded. He loves to scrap.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 09:03It’s a difficult watch ain’t it!
He stand a real chance of losing this one?

If they were the same size, I'd feel confident in picking Jorge. But, Till is so big, I don't know. Till should be a mw, and Jorge was a lw.Oiky wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 11:47Imo he does yes, masvidal is no jokelillywhite14 wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 09:03It’s a difficult watch ain’t it!

McGregor got arrested, not for the Irish rape but destroying a phone in Miami.
Re: MMA
It's cos he smashed it and took it away. Making it theft. Tbh I can understand celebs getting pissed off with people ramming phones 8 inches from their face without asking.p4p1 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2019, 02:40Who’s phone?Onetimeonly wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 23:56 McGregor got arrested, not for the Irish rape but destroying a phone in Miami.
Seems like an overreaction to arrest him just for that.
Oh yeah....the rape

At about 5am. Was this just a celebrity sick of having his picture taken, or someone with something he didn't want getting out?
Re: MMA
Well no... with Irish law nobody will know unless he is found guilty.Steveh583 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2019, 03:37It's cos he smashed it and took it away. Making it theft. Re: MMA
Just watched a q&a with Jorge Masvidol. I've always liked him. But, he won a lot of fans from that alone I'll bet. He's as real a fighter as you get. Funny too. They asked him to tell a story about Yoel Romero. He said the stories he knows he can't tell the public. But, one thing he can say is don't lend him money. Cause if Yoel doesn't pay you back, there ain't shit you can do about it.
