Pulev can outjab Rivas, if Rivas will be looking for a punch like in the Jennings bout. Actually I don't think, that Rivas has any chanced to outbox Pulev. Rivas needs to find good ways to deliver his shots.
The more I think about it, the more I can see Rivas beating Pulev. Pulev has nothing to keep Rivas off of him for a full 10/12 rounds. Jab jab hold won't work on Rivas who has an inside game and sneaky left hook.
That's exactly what i remember everyone saying when chisora at his 242lbs lightest weight fought pulev, that he can't keep chisora off him from puting pressure on him for 12 rounds . This will be repeat of chisora fight.
Rivas is a different fighter than Chisora. He can box and already had beaten Pulev in the amateurs. (A while ago, to be fair).
A while ago ? Are you sure ?
Rivas beat Pulev in the 2008 Olympics, so yeah, Ten years is a while ago.
Leaning over in a clinch has been part of game, even lewis was leaning on tyson and other fighters. Rivas was fighting 6 or 8 rounders fighters before facing jennings, you can look at record of opponents he faced recently on his boxrec record. And i am not Bulgarian. silly talks from mostly british fans who can't stand any other fighters get a massive payday.

I think you're aiming that post at the wrong guy. Never said where you're from and don't care. Also, I'm American, not British. Lastly, Rivas can beat Pulev, just like he did 10/11 years ago. Pulev is an inactive bore. Rivas can bang with both hands.

Pulev inactive ? despite getting aged, now he is training harder than he ever before did and he understand with age you need to train better. He was never this lightweight at 241 lbs. And since moving to US, he is under better team with bob arum managment. It was very hard for him to get sparring partners in bulgaria.
