He probably just wants people to agree with him. That might make him happy.
Probably not - although I'd prefer better quality posters on here. Very few folk post much in the way of substance with regards to scoring. Like i said before I'll happily rewatch and rescore any round in isolation.

What would your prediction be if Fowler fought Canelo or GGG, just curious?

On Eye on the Ring, the fight has a 13% controversy rating.

On an app called FightScore.. 140 users scored the bout.. much more than 8..

Rd 6.. only 9 of those 140 scored it for Fowler. 4 had it even and 127 had t for Fitz

Bizarre stuff really. Fowler gets a 9.75 for r9 which was verygng on a 10-8 round? Most users gave Fitz r6 which was a clear Fowler round?

I think r4 & 7 were probably close enough to give to Fitzy, then ofcourse the 10-8 at the end closes the score up a bit, but a clear win for Fowler.

In all honesty, I'm past caring about this fight now. The wider problem is folk that score rounds based on what they hear in commentary as oppose to what they see in the ring. Round 6 in this fight is a great example, Fowler clearly won the round but the narrative from Smith & Froch was that there was a turning tide - hence why your aggregate shows 10-9 in favour of the wrong guy.

Then fair enough but I'd like to hear the justification for a guy winning the round in which he threw less, landed less, and got hit with the most eye-catching shots too.

You can't score a fight without sound.
How can you tell if the shot was a powerful one without the "thwack!"
And you can mostly tell by the sound if it hits glove or skin.

Not really.. not always. Some boxers add their own sound effects anyway when throwing shots.

depends, a lot of the time the sound on tv doesnt give that good of an idea, and a blocked shot can give of pretty 'impressive' sound too

i think the most accurate way to judge a fight would be with only the fight sounds, but that is next to impossible. i think sound off is the next best.

I had Fitzgerald winning the fight by one point.
Really close fight for me with the knockdown being the deciding factor.
