Could be another version of the dreary Pianetta fight.

If so, it won't spark any new public clamor for a Wilder rematch.

I'd rather Fury was fighting one of the three Schwarzes than this Scharwarz but I'll take it.

Fury is deadly dull, at least inside the ring. Can you imagine what Fury v Fury would look like?

Marcel Marceau has nothing on him.

What do you think the overs/unders line on total punches landed would be?

About 15?

All I can see is Fury clowning with those arms up in the air and Young ducking inside the upper two strands of rope, and a bewildered referee scratching out a grocery list between the action, or lack thereof. :brick:

Bit harsh some of these posts.

Whilst Fury v Klitschko or Fury v Wilder may not have been the most action packed fights they were compelling viewing throughout. Very few people took their eyes off the fights. There's an element of drama with Fury that many other fighters don't bring.

Joshua may throw a few more punches but I find his outings as dull as dishwater. Klitschko fight being the one exception.

But each to their own. We all like different things.

I think the element of drama was Fury facing a guy who could change the fight with one shot. That was the compelling part of this fight. Would Fury avoid the big rights.

Yeah that's part of it. Also the unpredictability of what's going to unfold.

As opposed to heavyweight boxing's version of painting by numbers.

But we all like different things. One man's meat etc.

fury really provides little drama, if you say you like the suspense of fury vs wlad or wilder your talking about what his opponents might do. fury doesnt deserve credit for that . nothing at all happened at all in wlad vs fury btw.

pretty much all he does now is jab, move, hold, repeat. hes been in some of the most boring fights ive seen.

Well I suppose Schwartz is unbeaten so we don't really know how good he is. And he's only 24 and has youth and vigour on his side.

I know ... I'm clutching at straws aren't I ? :verysad:

Having seen Tom Schwarz a few times, I will say this for him, at least he will be marching forward the whole fight. I do however think that Tyson Fury will be waaaaaayyyyy too evasive for Schwarz. I can well imagine that Fury will get too cocky and start to showboat and Schwarz might land some solid punches in these phases, but any time that Fury is concentrating and doing his staggering-drunk-wobble-footwork in-and-out thing, then Schwarz will simply not have the agility, reach or technique to trouble Fury. Fury is capable of knocking out Schwarz, who is pretty open to counter rights.

The only thing I'll be looking at closely is Fury's pre-fight weigh in. Schwarz's only real chance is if Fury's life outside the ring derails again.

Funny thing about this fight, no matter who AJ's opponent will be, this is the worst fight of the big three.

At least with AJ you'll get an explosive KO. With Fury, you get a 6'9" clown waving his arms in the air throwing 10 punches per round.
