None of US athletic commissions would allow her to fight a male boxer, as then they would be responsible for her brain damage.

GGG would knock her out in round 1 even after drinking 8 pints of beer

lol wahts not to like about her?SenorPipino wrote: ↑18 Apr 2019, 14:09 Not enough love here for Ms. Shields.
Maybe the most athletic female boxer on the planet. She would have been a terrific track and field star if she cared to pursue it.
Shields made the highly touted Hammer look like it was her first night in the ring.
What's not to love about her? I know, some of you guys prefer your boxers to be bland, robotic personalities in search of a tiny spark of charisma.
But some of us enjoy and applaud confidence and cocky bravado, especially when its combined with immense talent.
The fact that she gets so much mileage here is evidence that Shields has made a lasting impression. Far more than Taylor, Braekhus and Hammer combined.
for start she cant crack an egg in the ring and her fights are really not entertaining. would be way better if she could actually do the damage she seem to think she can. tell me a male world champ who has never scored a knockdown even. she certanly does not have that explosiveness youd expect from an amazing track athlete (lol, are we just gifting boxers athletic accomplishments now, okay, olek usyk would be a great point guard)
also im pretty sure shes just stupid. have u read her stuff? not just her self promotion but whatt she says in general. like i said, its funny how you think yapping = intelligent, when dogs and babies do the same to get attention.. at least she loves sucker punching unc though!
hey, ill give it to her, she gets more attention then other female boxers who get no attention at all (being a 2x gold medalist prob helps more then any talking), but dont kid yourself, those are some pretty crappy numbers for a fight that they tried to promote like that. no one is getting loaded of 300k viewers on showtime. ppl just dont care about womens boxing and shes not got the sex appeal factor to win lewd male attention on that either

No way she's top 3000.dagilechia wrote: ↑18 Apr 2019, 15:27 where would you rank her in the male rankings? top 100? top 200? i'd say top 300, at best, especially considering her lack of power

I haven't laced up gloves in 20 years, I'm 50 years old and I'd knock her out.dagilechia wrote: ↑18 Apr 2019, 16:00 yes i'm probably too generous for her i wouldn't be surprised if you're right

would ggg get dropped by hana gabriel
Re: Claressa Shields: ‘I’d give GGG a run for his money’
This has been done in tennis a few times, most notably with the Williams sisters playing a guy named Kersten Braasch (ranked 203 at the time) and he won 6-1, 6-2...and, for those who might not be aware....
- He had been drinking. He smoked in between games. And he said that he didn't even play all out.
This is the template, and its even more one sided in boxing.
She'd better tone it down a bit....Floyd Mayweather might start sensing a money making opportunity here.

You Americans call that type a "hood rat". That rat just poked its nose out of the sewer. A 75 year old GGG would kill a 25 year old rat like that.
Re: Claressa Shields: ‘I’d give GGG a run for his money’
Any respect I had for her after defeating the Hammer has evaporated. I can’t get behind these delusional characters - it’s a pet hate of mine.

Glad you brought up track & field!!SenorPipino wrote: ↑18 Apr 2019, 14:09 Maybe the most athletic female boxer on the planet. She would have been a terrific track and field star if she cared to pursue it.
In every sport where performance can be objectively measured in time or distance (track, field, swimming), women lag FAR behind men. The current women's world record for 200 meters is 21.34. In 1923 a guy set the world record at 21.0. So at 200 meter sprinting women are about 96 years behind men.
In swimming world records the male/female difference is not as great (possibly because women have higher % of body fat which increases buoyancy in water). In the 100 freestyle swim the womens' world record is where the men's record was in 1970, so women are "only" 49 years behind men in swimming.
Re: Claressa Shields: ‘I’d give GGG a run for his money’
She drops men??? She doesnt even drop women!!
Nobody can possibly be taking this woman seriously. That said she has NO opponents left. Yeah yeah she'll fight tiny Breakhus, another beatdown. To make real money she's gonna have to transition to MMA and cut some weight. All the money for women in combat sports is in the UFC. She's surely not making any money off her looks.

Re: Claressa Shields: ‘I’d give GGG a run for his money’
ya, theres hardly any interest in womens boxing and she has pretty no one left to fight already. not an entertaining style or really good looking either
pip tells us shes getting very rich on those few hundred thousand viewers for an undisputed title fight though

2 years from now, at the most, she'll be looking for real money making fights...and she's not gonna find them in boxing. There are no fighters.

Someone from her camp needs to check her ego, not even entertaining this stay in your lane.
We have weight divisions for a reason and we most definitely have MALE and FEMALE divisions for a reason!!

Shields is a good fighter, most women in boxing are really tough.
They have promotional issues because men's boxing is by far and away superior, it's just the way it is.
Take a 100 meter dash, both are impressive but the men's is the one to watch, it's just powerful faster and much more exciting.

She should have her kids first before one bodyshot from GGG would rearrange her womb

She already won a world title at SMW, but then went south to avoid Savannah no doubt.
