Kell Brook vs. TBA - 1 June 2019
Re: Kell Brook vs. TBA - 1 June 2019
151? Pointless
Trying to hang in there as a welterweight in hope of that Khan fight. He clearly cant make 147 anymore!

Ive been a Brook fan since before he won the British title. He's definitely a wasted talent. A career stalled! He looks shot now if his last outing is anything to go by! That scrub lit him up and made him work for the distance! A sharp Brook would've dispatched that guy early. He's well past his best. Needs to consider hanging em up.

Kell Brook 'doesn't seem like he wants to fight', claims Jessie Vargas
Kell Brook "wastes my time", claims Jessie Vargas, who insists that negotiations to agree a fight have come to nothing.
Two-weight world champion Vargas steps up to super-welterweight against Humberto Soto on Saturday morning at 2.30am, live on Sky Sports, but has set his sights on fighting in the UK.
"Kell Brook? We've tried to negotiate a fight between he and I but, for some reason, he just wastes my time," Vargas told Sky Sports.
"So I'm not trying to get into negotiations again with someone who wastes my time because my time is precious. I'm in the prime of my career so when I negotiate I need to know [the opponent wants to fight] for real.
"Kell Brook doesn't seem like he wants to fight me."
Former IBF welterweight champion Brook was first linked with a fight against Vargas in 2016 but their paths have never crossed.
Vargas added: "I would definitely be interested in a fight with Liam Smith.
"He is a good fighter, he's been in with some of the best. I respect him as a fighter but we can make a good fight.
"I am very interested in fighting in the UK. They get rowdy, they get passionate. I would like to be a part of it.
"If [my promoter Eddie Hearn] wants me to fight in the UK then it will happen.
"I look forward to becoming a three-division champion but first I need to get past Soto. I am in my peak years, I am 29-years-old. I am among the best in the world. I will become world champion once again."

The longer the wait for an opponent, unless he is no longer on the card, the more I think his opponent will be someone like Nathaniel Gallimore

I always read Kell quotes in his own voice inside my head.
A talented kid. I think if he'd have lived the life sooner, he'd have more to show for it.
Dies he have the desire still..........or is he on operation cashout?
Kell Voice:
"My bodeeeeehhhhh feels good I'm ready't gooooooo. Edddddehhhhh!!! Eddddddehhhhhhh!!! Get me a shot at that TBA"
"It's all about the mooooooooneeeeeeey faaaaaaaaghts! Amiiiiiiiiiirrrrr Kaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn, whereee arrrre yeeeeeee? I'm weeeeyyyyyyyytin!!"

It adds a new dimension to the forum.
Re: Kell Brook vs. TBA - 1 June 2019
Of course, but do you think he has reached his full potential?
The alleged c0ck touching incident obviously hasn’t helped his career.

It's frustrating when you see kids out there who've not had the luck but are talented. And then you have an elite British talent pretty much coast his career away. But it's okay, he's set for life.Nondescript wrote: ↑07 May 2019, 15:53.. yeah I was talking from a purely financial perspective. His career in terms of opponents has been very mediocre overall.
Khan vs Brook is what I want. Nothing else they do interests me anymore. It's also years too late, and I think Khan gets clipped after leading on the cards.

Off the bill altogether according to quite a few reports today.
He's surely closer to retiring than ever fighting again. Desires clearly not there.

Instead, Brook will concentrate on securing a top name for later this summer. Terence Crawford and Danny Garcia are among the targets.
‘The Special One’ hiring a new head trainer is possible after leaving Dominic Ingle late last year. Brook has most recently been working with former pro and friend John Fewkes.
Speaking in regards to his return after just one fight in twelve months, Brook was excited earlier this year.
“I’m brand new, I’m ready for those massive fights. I’ve got plenty more to give for the fans. I’m excited about these big fights,” he told Sky Sports.
Despite Brook preparing to fall off the card, eight contests remain confirmed for New York.
