Much more technical. Navarette won the first fight on his physical advantages.

Hopefully Dogboe can adapt this time and win convincingly.

Despite his very good record, Navarette wasn't exactly highly regarded coming into the Dogboe fight.

He was a significant underdog. His resume didn't exactly boast any wins over top level guys.

Navarette is a slight 2-1 favorite in the rematch.
I don't. Navarette had a hurt hand for much of the second half of the fight if memory serves. He'll beat Dogboe up proper this time.

Navarrete (26-1, 22KOs)—sporting a hand-written "Feliz Día de Madre" ("Happy Mother's Day") sign on the scale—weighed 121.6 pounds, slightly lighter than when he was 122 on the dot in his title-lifting effort last December.

Dogboe (20-1, 14KOs) checked in at pounds, slightly heavier than the 120¾ pounds he weighed in his first career loss, which ended his brief but thrilling title reign at just over seven months.

Dogboe just had nothing to suggest. Navarrete was even better this time.

Navarrete is a very good champion and a very humble guy.

It really surprised me that he took so many hard shots, but at the same time, he continued to throw strong punches," Navarrete said after the fight. "I want to thank Dogboe because he gave me the opportunity to become a world champion, and now in this second fight, he gave me the opportunity to demonstrate that my first triumph wasn't by accident and that there is a reason why I have the title.

"And to all the fighters at 122 pounds, I tell them that if they want my title, then they can come and try and take it."

That's a very good excuse.
