For the first time being a Tyson Fury fan, I'm not tuning in. When it was rumored to be Pulev or someone relevant, I was interested. But this? I view this on par with the Seferi fight. It's a monumental backwards step. Never has Fury taken such a backwards step before in his career.

It is proof positive that the sport of boxing is the most corrupt business in the world--- and that these organizations are absolutely horrible. Schwarz has no business being ranked in the top ten of any organization, let alone the legitimate top fifty imho.

Nevada ought to be ashamed of itself, and Top Rank should be as well. Dillian Whyte was ALWAYS available and is very beatable and more meaningful--- now they're talking *if* the WBC puts up the diamond belt. But with Fury acting like he's going to retire after three fights or whatever--- it's an awful waste of time, money, resources to fight Schwarz.

Fury ought to be able to just end this in 4-5 rounds. But it won't surprise me if he clowns around, stretches out into the 8th round. Then follow it up with trash talk saying he wants to fight Joshua, when that's not going to happen until 2020 (if ever) because of mandatories and Hearn being a dickwad and Arum being an even bigger dickwad.

I don't get it,Fury even at his most aggresive can bore the tears from anyone and he's getting paid a fortune to headline in Vegas against a no hoper,doesn't make sense to me.

He hasn't got big money (relatively) up until signing the ESPN deal very recently. He has pulled a blinder securing that arrangement, it's a horrible deal for the people whose money is bankrolling ESPN's efforts at the moment IMO, and one of many. It'll all come out in the wash if these funds make huge losses for their investors.

Jesse "Hollywood" Hart and Sullivan Barrera understand high stakes and are coming to Las Vegas, intent on cashing in with a potential world title shot on the line. Hart and Barrera will square off in a 10-round light heavyweight bout Saturday, June 15 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Fury-Schwarz and Hart-Barrera will stream live in the United States exclusively on ESPN+ — beginning at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.

The undercard will be televised on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST/4:00 p.m. PST and will showcase undefeated 2016 Olympian Mikaela Mayer (10-0, 4 KOs), who will fight former world title challenger Lizbeth Crespo (13-4, 3 KOs) in a 10-round super featherweight bout.

Mayer is one of female boxing’s rising stars and has dominated her opposition as a professional. She went 6-0 in 2018, winning the NABF belt on August 25 with a shutout decision over the previously undefeated Vanessa Bradford. She made her 2019 debut February 15 in Hinckley, Minnesota, outclassing Yareli Larios over eight rounds. Crespo fought IBF featherweight world champion Jennifer Han in February 2018, dropping a tightly contested unanimous decision.

“It’s been a dream of mine to see women fighting alongside marquee names like Tyson Fury, and I’m grateful to be fighting at the MGM Grand on June 15,” Mayer said. “There’s still a lot the world hasn’t seen when it comes to my style and I’m ready to show everyone something special.”

In addition to Mayer-Crespo, the ESPN2/ESPN Deportes undercard broadcast will also include the following fights:

Guido “The Gladiator” Vianello (3-0, 3 KOs), a 6-foot-6 heavyweight who represented his native Italy at the 2016 Rio Olympics, will return in a six-rounder.

Featherweight Isaac Lowe (17-0-3, 6 KOs), a stablemate of Fury’s, will fight an opponent to be named in a 10-rounder.

Top super middleweight prospect Cem “Champ” Kilic (13-0, 8 KOs) will see action in an eight-rounder against an opponent to be determined.

Sonny Conto (2-0, 2 KOs), as big-punching heavyweight from Philadelphia, will make his Las Vegas debut in a four-rounder. Conto’s two professional fights — both first-round knockouts — have lasted a total of 3:30.

German heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru (3-0, 1 KO) will fight an opponent to be named in a six-rounder.

Andy Vences vs. Albert Bell Added To Fury vs. Schwarz

A pair of unbeaten super featherweight contenders will get a chance to shine on the sport’s biggest stage. Andy “El Tiburon” Vences will defend his WBC Continental Americas belt in a 10-rounder against Albert “Prince” Bell June 15 at MGM Grand Garden Arena on the Tyson Fury-Tom Schwarz undercard.

Vences-Bell and Mikaela Mayer-Lizbeth Crespo will anchor the live Fury-Schwarz undercard broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.

Fury-Schwarz and Jesse Hart-Sullivan Barrera will stream on ESPN+, the leading multi-sport streaming service, starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

Vences-Bell was originally set to take place June 8 in Reno, Nevada, on the Oscar Valdez-Jason Sanchez undercard, but both fighters are excited to take their talents to Las Vegas.

“We were prepared to fight June 8, so this doesn’t change anything. I know this is a big opportunity and that a win would be huge for my career,” Vences said. “I can see Bell getting hurt this fight. He is the only one standing in my way as I move toward a world title shot. He can hit and move all he wants, but it’s going to take much more than that to get my respect.”

“All this does is give me one extra week to train,” Bell said. “I am excited and blessed to be fighting at the MGM Grand on the same card as the heavyweight champion.”

Vences (22-0-1, 12 KOs), from San Jose, California, has won two in a row since a closely contested draw against Erick De Leon on the Oscar Valdez-Scott Quigg undercard March 10 of last year. He is coming off a shutout unanimous decision over Dardan Zenunaj Feb. 10 in Fresno, California. Bell (14-0, 5 KOs), from Toledo, Ohio, has never been close to defeat as a pro but will be taking a giant step up in competition versus Vences. A 2012 National Golden Gloves champion as an amateur, Bell last fought Feb. 15 in Hinckley, Minnesota, scoring a decision win over the durable Edward Kakembo.

Hate this fight and hate the fact that Fury ducked the Wilder rematch despite being a fighting man, fair enough he should've won against Wilder but maybe he feels he was fortunate to get up of the deck twice, especially the KD in the 12th, still anyone who talks as much crap as Fury deserves all the criticism that's flung his way

I used to love Fury, still have a bit of a soft spot for him coz I think deep down he's a decent man but the failed test leaves a bad taste and I cant be as forgiven as a lot of people who still spout all this Lineal nonsense, he lost that status when he pissed dirty, I'd like to give him a pass but id be a hypocrite as I've zero tolerance for drug cheats in boxing

As far as the fight goes its surely a foregone conclusion, never seen Schwarz proper but his CV ain't up to much, he was out cold against Gashi at one point and had to win a DQ, also has wins over the likes of Nebo, Bacurin and Airich, hardly murderers row

If Fury chooses to show Schwarz about levels then he should stop him , if not Fury will play with him for the duration and win a shut out

I've watched much of Schwarz on youtube and he just really isn't very good.
