This was about 25-1.
I got 16/1.
Odds I had on Ruiz in round 6 were 175/1. think round 7 was same.

LMFAO! if Hearn is like Don King, he'll be pushing Whyte now.

I'd like to know.

Ruiz would probably prefer to milk a couple of defenses first and make some nice money.

Ruiz-Kownascki anyone?

A man loosing on his feet, David Price did that also. Price also fights under English association.

I read that one of the reasons AJ/Wilder wasn't made was AJ wouldn't accept a 50/50 split. He wanted more than Wilder. I thought it was a silly reason when I read it (the 3 belts weren't really a selling point for me, it's about who puts bums on seats) . It looks positively ludicrous now.

AJ/Whyte has got to be very high up Hearns list now. A “safe” way to make a lot of money and figure out his best next step. The titles are fair game for anybody right now.

You really see Whyte as a safe fight now? Hearns may be calling Breazeale again.

Is Parker the emperor then?
Parker lost to AJ.

Ruiz Jr. beat the man. Ruiz Jr. has taken over as King of the boxing hill.

Denigrate him all you want. Ruiz Jr. got it done.

I meant safe for Hearn if both are his guys...but now I’m thinking Whyte isn’t with Hearn anymore...I can’t remember I don’t follow Whyte at all really.

UK fighters always seem to disappoint when they make their USA debut.

Joshua and Wilder have got to be kicking themselves. $100 mill...poof.

Bellew and Eddie should be on suicide watch tonight too. Apparently never learned the lesson of JuanMa-Gamboa.

Who made AJ the man?

No one is denigrating Ruiz, he’s just clearly not the best HW.

Klitschko is not even 50 yet and has been retired for years. Klitschko was the world champion at the time Fury fought him. And then, after a 2 year food feast, he beat Wilder. Very impressive that Fury -that Wilder is no joke, he's the most lethal heavyweight around.

Ruiz Jr. is the HW King. He took it fair and square from the man acknowledged by the VAST majority of the boxing world as the king. He now owns the majority of belts.

All your talk is just that. Ruiz Jr. conquered the HW hill. The ONLY man who has a any claim is Wilder.

How long will Ruiz Jr. hold it? Does not matter. He is the King of all of boxing right now.

Still reeling from all of this.
First couple of rounds were relatively close until the 3rd when it went it off, Joshua seemed to have hurt Ruiz but didn't follow through and got clipped.
It was obvious Ruiz had ability and could crack a little, I thought Joshua could either take it and launch a full out attack or break Ruiz up with some of his weapons from the outside gradually wearing him down.
Joshua had options but couldn't deliver on them, more concerning would be his chin as he looked rattled and unsteady on his feet as Ruiz marched towards him.
I didn't expect this and was completely wrong in my assessment of the fight, got to hand it to Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz he deserved it and fought hard, took chances and gutted it out, what an upset good luck to the guy he's about to make more money than he probably ever expected in the sport.
