Christ. Did Imran Sarwar write it!?
Is every single person in Meldrick's circle of friends and family completely illiterate? I'd love to know how on earth this pile of shite made it through proof reading! It's like it's been written by a computer program that has then translated it into mandarin and then back into English. Truly bizzare.

After seeing Meldrick Taylor getting in bother this week, got in some 90 minute armed stand off with police and threatened a guy with a gun apparently, no doubt facing a few years, I seen his mugshot, he looks a tragic mess, dishevelled

Still never mind it gives me the excuse to bump this legendary thread(again)

Fvcking legendary thread :yay:

Reading it back again, I have to feel slightly sorry for Meldrick’s “two lovely sister Maureen and Stacey, who type and prepare for hours without compensation who didn't mind at all”, considering the amount of pure sexual filth he describes

I just looked up the book on Amazon and sadly it’s unavailable. But even the product description is fvcking weird:

About the Author
FIRST AND FOREMOST, I would like to thank Jesus Christ, who have given me the Gift to write my life story in book without him, I can do nothing God was the one who divinely inspired me and who gave me the ability to accomplish it. Everything is possible through him. He gave me the ingenuity to think and remember important details of my life and describe things in sequence and be created by learning about my great history through out all annuals of time, a Heritage to be proud of because we are the former of all things. If god be for me, who can be against me. I HAVE AN INTERESTING LIFE, being a witty kid, realizing I was a special person at a early age, born on earth to fulfill my purpose, believing in a Higher Power, that predestine me to succeed. I was confident about myself to live out my fate only by hope even without hope in the world, the evidence was not seen, but my faith in God, who spearheaded my achievements. God gave me the Knowledge of the truth and brought me out of darkness into his marverlous light and put his Holy Spirit within me to understand his mystery of his words.

For those who want to read more of the book but (unlike Orbtastic and me) do not have their own copy, there is some good stuff at http://meldricktaylortwosecondsfromglory.blogspot.com/ . As Meldrick says there, "let the chips roll".

Same as those tough heavyweights that still fight ex-Olympian Rubin Williams

Whenever I hear about Meldrick Taylor I don’t think about the outstanding boxer. I now immediately think of that book and this thread.

Well, that's good to hear but those KO's on his record make worrying reading. Maybe it's time for him to find an easier way to make some money, or at least fight some weaker opponents?

He has outside ventures, it's just a hustle for him. Tbh I didn't know he was still fighting.
