There are several holes in the record of Pat Stone, the Australian light-heavy who died after a bout at the Mansfield Tavern, Brisbane on August 17, 1990.
Stone, actually won a 10-round points decision in this fight, for the vacant Queensland state light-heavyweight title but collapsed in his corner before the verdict was announced.
He died the following day in hospital.
Also Wills' record going into this fight was 5-0-0, not 4-0-0.
