Lots, ex 'The racial group differences across admissions tests, such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, LSAT, Advanced Placement Program examinations and other measures of educational achievement, have been fairly consistent. '
Intelligence tests like welscher and stanford binet too
On the IQ tests that Eugenicists used to use to prove racial disparity
"Most intelligence tests measure both fluid and crystallized intelligence, which has a large foundation in acquired knowledge and education. Because some people receive that education to a greater or lesser degree, IQ tests have been accused of being unfair and invalid.
Another criticism is that even when education levels are accounted for, cultural differences may still interfere with scores. If the entire concept of intelligence is culture-specific, it is also unfair to assess a person from one culture using the standards and definitions from a different culture.
Lastly, even when education levels and culture are controlled for, some small differences may remain. Researchers have investigated the complex reasons why and concede that racial stereotypes, testing bias and self-fulfilling prophesies around IQ could explain why certain groups may outperform others."
I scored a near genius I.Q and personally I found it to be a pretty shitty test of intelligence
SATs and LSAD etc. are a terrible examples because you assume an even playing field, let me have a wee look...
Here's a paper on the LSAD
https://repository.upenn.edu/cgi/viewco ... ntext=spur
"Conclusion:
The LSAT does systemically disadvantages minorities from obtaining higher education.
This is due to the fact that students that are more financially stable can obtain The LSAT also
systematically disadvantages underrepresented minorities because admissions place such a heavy
weight on the use the score to determine ability to pass the bar. However, the ABA considers
only first time takers in their success rates. When the data of second, third, or fourth time test
attempts are compressed, the percentage of minorities that succeed on the bar exam are
significantly increased.
This means there could be a more socio economic diverse field of successful lawyers if
the LSAT wasn’t used as the primary instrument for consideration by law school admission
officers. Law schools have slowly been making more policies to negate these effects as more
research and evidence increases. Harvard Law school, for example, no longer requires LSAT
scores to apply to the law school. They also accept the Graduate Record Examination, GRE."
Seriously mate, it took me about 2 minutes
