I thought you were all in favour of this freakshow about 3 pages ago?
Where did I say I was in favour?
It sounded like you were in favour.

If not, then my apologies, as you were

No what ive said and will say all day long. If someone passes tests and they are adults in sound mind they should be free to participate in what ever they want.

Its irreverent how I feel really. I cant stop someone doing as they wish.

OK I misread, apologies.

Though I disagree with the main point. An old brain is a different kettle of fish to a young brain.

Indeed you could be correct but did you listen to the professor in the press conference, this guy is no mug and a highly regarded man in his field, even though he is chief medical officer for BIBA.

You would think that Benn would look at Watson and McClellan and be glad he got out in one piece. Has he never watched a Hollywood movie? When they go back for "one last job" it always goes wrong!

And obviously he has no vested interest.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this is promoted by Brick-Top.

Just a little update on this topic as a few snippets of info have come out.

There will be a meeting tomorrow to chose the undercard fights, looks like there could be around 14 fights on the bill.

It seems the BBBoC have been trying to get the fight stopped according to reports from BIBA. They say the BBBoC have been in touch with the venue voicing their opinion.

it also looks like another 'Big' BIBA show is going to be announced shortly with the venue being White Hart Lane or Emirates Stadium featuring 2 'Huge' named stars on the main event.

Benn is playing with fire. Bika is all wrong for a fighter of his age. Can ruin him.

If Bika went out there trying to win I'm sure he'd batter Benn. That is why I think something is funny here...I mean look how clear it is to us that Bika is much too tough.

I don't expect it to be a legit fight...if it goes ahead Bika is coming to throw it for extra cash.

I think you've nailed it on the head. Possibly s repeat of the Freddie Flintoff farce. Benn maybe getting tagged and falling but getting up for a points win.

I can remember Benn talking on various chat shows soon after his final fight saying that he had some anomalies with a Brain Scan and realistically he shouldn't have fought post McClellan.

I'd be shocked if Bika came in swinging. Glorified exhibition and no more.

Cannot see it being a proper world champion - got to be an unlicenced world champion.

Has Bika been seen in the press conferences? People have been saying "oh he last fought just over a year back - a lot of things can happen in a year..... he could have pigged out on fine dinning and not done any training.
