Is Deontay Wilder really a good guy pretending to be bad ?

I have changed my opinion, right now I think all his trash talking about a corpse has been just the media issue. What do you think ?

I think he's not a really bad guy, just one of those who gets swaggy and loud when he's amped up. I don't know if he's all that good though, hard to know. Maybe I'll show up at his house one day and try to meet him and see what he does

Wilder is cheating himself.
If he was humble and decent (no screaming and murder rap),
then the contrast to his destructive power would make everyone
love him. He'd be the babyface everybody wants to win.

But he's playing the heel and that doesn't build a following.
He should look at the early Tyson model. He was a bad man
that everyone liked. Granted later he blew all that and went
crazy (biting etc.) But early folks loved him.
A bad guy doesn't sell as well in boxing. A good guy does.
That's why fans re-embraced Joshua so quickly.
