Rankings
Are the rankings updated automatically after each boxers last fight? Im just asking this as a current pro as asked me when are the rankings updated?
Mark Bennett has beaten Soko and Sandford but still remains below them at 16th.

Re: Rankings
The ratings have been updated for those fights, but Bennett losing to Webb brought him back below Sandland and Soko, which is obviously flawed, especially considering he'd just won a UD over Sandland (who had won a UD over Soko the fight before)
So basically, advancing to the final hurt Bennett, which is pretty messed up! I like the ratings but this is a case of them being flawed.

Re: Rankings
I am not sure about the bout order on that event. There is no information like final or semi final.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 08:53 The ratings have been updated for those fights, but Bennett losing to Webb brought him back below Sandland and Soko, which is obviously flawed, especially considering he'd just won a UD over Sandland (who had won a UD over Soko the fight before)

Re: Rankings
So the bout order should be corrected in Boxrec and the ratings will change. Currently there is Bennett vs Sandland before Sandland vs Sokolowksi.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 09:24 Quarterfinals

Re: Rankings
So will this change then when whoever changes the bout order? Also any indication of what the ranking would be when changed?

Re: Rankings
It is NOT the same order. The bouts are rated in correct bout order of that day now. Bennett went from #15 to #14, but he still is behind. This is correct now, regarding the Boxrec rating rules.MasterG wrote: ↑28 Dec 2019, 12:11still the same order on their records mate, and Bennett still at 14.computerrank wrote: ↑21 Dec 2019, 09:56

Re: Rankings
I'm not sure what you mean, however what I am saying is that the record of Bennett and Co are not in the order that the fights took place as per their records. As in Bennett's case you have him fighting Nick Webb first which isnt right. Nick Webb should be the last person Bennett fought in his boxing career record. Thats all im saying.computerrank wrote: ↑28 Dec 2019, 16:09It is NOT the same order. The bouts are rated in correct bout order of that day now. Bennett went from #15 to #14, but he still is behind. Re: Rankings
You are right, the order in the record should be changed. My point was, the ratings are calculated in the correct order. So the rating points are correct already.MasterG wrote: ↑28 Dec 2019, 16:52I'm not sure what you mean, however what I am saying is that the record of Bennett and Co are not in the order that the fights took place as per their records. Re: Rankings
yes sorry. At least you now know that the record should be adjusted in correct order of fights as they happened in the boxers careers.computerrank wrote: ↑29 Dec 2019, 05:29You are right, the order in the record should be changed.
