Also as someone mentioned further up the thread the orange looking kunt comments from Taylor could well be sectarian, he's posted and deleted comments about rangers fans on his Twitter in the past
Its not racial, sectarian or offfensive in any way for that matter.
Thats coming from a Rangers fan.
Should have been charged with Drunk and disorderly surely
So you think he was reffering to his skin tone
In Scotland if you reffer to someone as an orage c*nt, it means only one thing.

If it was a reference to the Orange Order then it carries connotations.
That depends on your political view.
In 2006 there was riots on the streets of Dublin which was related to the Orange Order I believe although I could be wrong but I highly doubt anyone doing an Orange Order march in Dublin would make it out of the city without severe injuries. So in that respect the orange comment is racial, sectarian and offensive to some. It depends on your own political view.

Gotta say I think he’s comes across as a sound geezer in interviews, surprised people don’t like him really.
I thought that too Roy.
Someone explained the football thing to me, so now I get that part- which was from an earlier incident he had.
The drugs is a real worry though.
Just because he is on a break from fighting and testing is no excuse to even get near class A, or anyone who does it.
Realistically he has only 3-4 years of peak performance before the slide. So any bans for popping positive will really hurt his career.

At the end of the day he can train all his life but a 17 stone doorman with minimal training would still give him a severe hiding on the street
This is such BS I don't know where to begin. I've lost count the amount of videos I've seen of a little dude cracking a big dude on the chin with a nice 1-2 and down goes the big guy. Often times, the big guy is a bouncer.
Look at the size difference. The smaller guy probably has at least some boxing training, too. Especially as it's from Kazakhstan, where boxing training is very normal for boys/young men to participate in.
To conclude: you're wrong.
Agreed, double world boxing champion weighing possibly 11st plus would have little trouble dropping a 17st bouncer in most cases,it's the speed and accuracy from the boxer that is the killer, yes if a big guy was to get the boxer in some kind of grip then that's different, but usually it would be over after 1 or 2 good blows.

They were cheap shots the bouncer didn't expect. Any bouncer worth his salt will not take any chances with a pro boxer coming at him and if the bouncer has any kind of training at all, and usually they do MMA style training.
For example look at this fat bouncer with a nice counter that nearly takes the guys head off. If Taylor got close to this bouncer he would simply be grabbed and taken to the ground.

Dean Francis served time when he chinned somebody after a nights drinking. Judges tend to view boxer’s fists as weapons. Probably needs to grow up!
There was a bouncer in Essex who had boxed and who got life for murder when he chinned a guy who died for that same reason
In a fist fight I'll take the boxer, even at a big size disadvatnage, the key is how capable the bouncer is of taking the boxer down. If the bouncer has actual training and is much bigger he could probably do it vs a boxer with no clue on grappling
Am sure I read somewhere ex pro Micheal hunter who was only a super bantam
Used to terrorise the doorman in Hartlepool , lot of these doorman can’t fight

Who’d win a fight isn’t really the point. You don’t lay into blokes who‘re doing their job. Taylor of all people should know that. I hope he has good people around him to keep him right. He‘s an exciting fighter, we don’t want him to squander his talent.

The bouncer aggressively shoved the smaller dude, then squared up. They were not cheap shots. They were completely justified, as the bouncer was the aggressor.
Just because the bouncer didn't expect them, it doesn't mean they were cheap shots. The bouncer didn't expect them because he expected to be able to intimidate the smaller guy due to his size. He was wrong. And he's lucky he wasn't killed, as his buddy was about to put a bullet in his chest, but was stopped by the "cheap shotting" smaller dude.

Ifs, buts, maybes. You said a 17 stone bouncer could easily handle a smaller boxer like Taylor. You're wrong. Why wasn't the bouncer able to take a couple of shots to the chin from a much smaller guy? Because size doesn't automatically translate to toughness. You were so sure that a bigger guy can easily take out Taylor, simply based on size. Then when I give you a video proving you wrong, you dismiss it... 'b... b... but cheap shots'. lol

Like I said... ifs, buts, maybes. Taylor would never throw such a pathetic, weak, slow shot like that.

He's young, Scottish and out on the booze. If thats not a recipie for laying into someone i dont know what is.
Josh gwnerally seems alright to me, but i do get the impression he has that i'm a hardman chip on his shoulder and that is never a nice trait in anyone.
i think he seems quite down to earth and I've watched a lot of his interviews. He does have that Scott Harrison nastiness about him though. Hopefully that's where the Harrison comparisons end because we don't want to see him go down that road!

I don't really think they are alike at all, Harrison it always seemed like he was the way he was, it just so happened that he was also a world level professional boxer that was in the limelight, there's loads of guys like Harrison walking about every scheme in Glasgow, Taylor seems more like he wants to be seen like that but it just seems a bit forced at times , kinda Danny dyer wannabe hard man , he seems pretty cringe when he tries to act hard , with Harrison it came so naturally

Taylor comes across like a pr*ck there.
At the end of the day he can train all his life but a 17 stone doorman with minimal training would still give him a severe hiding on the street and he seems like the type of guy who would be bothered by that which seems to be the catalyst that made him start mouthing off. Small man syndrome I believe.
Similar to Prince Patel with Kugan Cassius acting like a hard man and challenging him to a fight on the street. Patel could only sit there and get mugged off. He can train all his life and still take a hiding from Kugan on the street.
With Patel it’s different he’s literally about 8 stone piss wet through, Taylor probably walks around 12 stone, he’d switch a lot of bouncers lights out no bother, what was that all about with Kugan anyway? He looked like a right nob saying that to a geezer built like a 12 year old, never heard him say out to Ty Booth and he gives him no end of stick.

I just think the street is completely different and anything will go when people are fighting on the street. A weight advantage means a lot and it's not like the bouncer won't know how to handle himself. I doubt bouncers last on the job if they don't have bottle.
Agreed on Kugan. Pathetic behaviour. You're right, he didnt show the same anger towards Booth, told him to "Be Safe" and then legged it
