Where would you rank Tyson Fury in British history?

AJ, Usuk and Whyte would be a nice next 3 fights. Hrgovic would be a decent scalp too, if Hrgovic is still undefeated by then.

No. Lennox’s overall quality of opposition was far better. Obviously not Fury’s fault that the division is so much weaker now, but even with those wins I don’t think his resume would be close to Lewis.

I think fury sees the game for what it is. He’ll have a soft, money grabbing defence then cash out vs AJ. I don’t think he’s too fussed about legacy or being an ATG. And I don’t blame him tbh, I would imagine his old man will have instilled in him a ‘get in, get the money and run’ attitude from a young age (being an ex fighter himself)

Even Wilder's biggest detractors on here didn't predict the absolute humiliating beat-down that Fury dished out. Jeff Lacy got off lightly in comparison to that.

Nothing has changed he's been #2 since he beat Wlad, who will always be the best name on his resume.

The division is absolutely dire now, so I don't think Fury will ever be able to catch Lewis...he'd need about 20 title defenses and at least a couple other fighters to achieve something before he gets them. Fury is good enough to be in the conversation, but he'll never be able to prove it given the peers he's got available.

For now? That win was soooo good but he’s a country mile off Lennox, who beat Bruno, Tyson, Holyfield, Rahman, Tua, Vitali, Grant, Morrison, Briggs, Mercer, Botha, Golata, Tucker. Fury’s miles off that resume

I'd say, with Wilder's scalp Fury's resume became better for sure. And Fury is closer to Lewis than on a mile. I agree about the other points though.
