I use a 44 pound training vest to jog, spring, somersault roll (up and downhill), burpee and power jump.
WALKING to the ring in this vest is no strain.
Guy’s 230-pounds. I’m about 182-pounds and not a world class athlete.

Can there be more one sided fashion?punchoutsb wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 13:37 Wilder will be on eggshells for the rematch and I’d imagine Fury will finish the job in an even more one sided fashion.

Ya, it was such a hiding from a guy who doesn't usually stop opponents like that, that I'd think a 3rd would have to be at least a bit more competitive

Let's speak the truth. Wilder was slowly and carefully brought up to the limelight stage of the HW division by being carefully matched against a lot of stiffs and cab drivers. His best wins are against a fat-short Stiverne and an ancient Luis Ortiz. When he met an elite HW fighter he crumbled. Nobody is saying that he isn't a big puncher but let's be real and admit that Wilder had a lucky-protected career b/c his boxing skills&fundamentals are poor. Just look at his resume.

He either looked shot early or realized his power had no effect and Fury walked through him.

Spot on! Wilder was madly in love about his power and he thought that he only needs to land his right hand to win the fight. Wrong plan to rely only on your power against a boxing prodigy like Gypsy King.

Well, the first fight I thought he lost, but he didn't crumple I don't think. The rematch, though, of course.apollo creed wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 03:45 Let's speak the truth. In the first match Fury was in a poor shape but that was his fault.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 04:54Well, the first fight I thought he lost, but he didn't crumple I don't think. If there is, we’ll see it in a third fight. Fury took Wilders soul.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 19:45Can there be more one sided fashion?punchoutsb wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 13:37 Wilder will be on eggshells for the rematch and I’d imagine Fury will finish the job in an even more one sided fashion.

The first two rounds were competitive, could have really gone either way. I agree, that won't happen again.punchoutsb wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 16:04If there is, we’ll see it in a third fight. Fury took Wilders soul.

With what he’s shown previously I’d imagine Wilder would come out gunning for a 1st round KO...but the excuses show a pretty deep insecurity. He’ll gas himself out and get obliterated if he doesn’t land a Suzy Q I reckon.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 16:05The first two rounds were competitive, could have really gone either way. I think the excuses are the last cling to being able to beat this guy. Nothing new in boxing. Fury smothering him can't be stopped, he could have done that the first time.punchoutsb wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 16:15With what he’s shown previously I’d imagine Wilder would come out gunning for a 1st round KO...but the excuses show a pretty deep insecurity. That's deontays move, get his check and try the McNeely cocoon of horror. Come back humble and rebuild with a couple to hopefully get a Josh fight.

And the excuses keep coming.
Wilder would be better off keeping schtum, getting back in the gym, trying to work on the basics and think about getting his trinket back.
He's just making himself sound deluded with all these excuses.

Why didn't Wilder just blame the busted eardrum? It's a perfectly reasonable excuse for his performance from the 3rd round onwards..... Joshua claimed he never got his legs back after taking a high one against Ruiz, so why didn't wilder just say the same, instead of all the suit nonsense.

I don't think it WAS busted, not according to Wilder anyway..sibbo wrote: ↑03 Mar 2020, 08:59 Why didn't Wilder just blame the busted eardrum? Well saying it was the ear would require him admitting that Fury caused his ear to be f@cked up, although maybe his mask was too heavy and causeed the bleeding?
Re: “By the third round, my legs was fully gone.” Wilder said; lol
Not according to the ringside doctor either. When Kenny "fondle fingers" Bayless asked the Doc, he showed him the cut inside the ear.greg wrote: ↑03 Mar 2020, 12:35I don't think it WAS busted, not according to Wilder anyway..sibbo wrote: ↑03 Mar 2020, 08:59 Why didn't Wilder just blame the busted eardrum? I've cut my ear and it bled like any head cut- as in a lot!
