I see Fury winning this on points.
Fury is very good at making opponents reluctant to throw.
I can’t see AJ rushing in, or throwing wasteful punches after what happened in the first Ruiz fight.
I’d expect AJ to have moments but favour Fury.
Might not be the most exciting fight.

Fwank says they want AJ right away and are willing to offer Wilder step aside money if he pushes an immediate rematch
Re: AJ vs Fury
Nice to hear. Just go straight for the jugular before the WBC can force their mandatory (albeit a good one, Whyte).margaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Feb 2020, 17:05 Fwank says they want AJ right away and are willing to offer Wilder step aside money if he pushes an immediate rematch
Re: AJ vs Fury
Fury’s stock is obviously considerably higher just now given their recent form, but AJ does offer different challenges than Wilder, as many have already pointed out. He’s technically much more solid and is naturally 25 -30lbs a bigger man than Wilder, he can also box a little more comfortably on the back foot, although I’m not convinced his last fight is as convincing of this as it maybe looked due to Ruiz’s poor condition.
Fury should be able to use his superior hand speed and reach to work effectively from range and also exploit Joshua’s questionable stamina by leaning and wrestling when up close.
Joshua could obviously catch hurt him coming in but I think he could look pretty ponderous if kept at range. Could be a bit of a rerun of Fury vs WK, a 8-4/9-3 type of tactical affair

Re: AJ vs Fury
Definitely Joshua is far more solid, indeed formidable, physically. Doubtful Fury can toss him around like he’s nothing, as per the light in the ass Wilder. Not that this would definitely even be his plan, for that assignment.
Also Joshua is a much more solid single puncher than Fury. Especially when he can get his body weigh forward.
And, Joshua getting it so badly wrong in the first Ruiz bout, will keep him in “improvement mode.”
Joshua would have to absolutely pummel the body of Fury, try to slow him down, set up damaging shots to the head. Joshua would have to box to inflict damage, win the hard way.

Re: AJ vs Fury
I saw Tony Belluw on soccer AM this morning said AJ will win, he should know and he’s obviously completely impartial.
Re: AJ vs Fury
I think Fury will win but both have shown they can implement game plans and AJ is a far more intelligent fighter than Wilder. He's also a very big man. I don't think it will be as one sided as Wilder and I'm not going to write AJ off either. It will be terribly exciting.
Whoever wins, all the belts are over here now. That's brilliant.

Are there two Anthony Joshuas?Autobarn wrote: ↑26 Feb 2020, 06:00 Definitely Joshua is far more solid, indeed formidable, physically. Doubtful Fury can toss him around like he’s nothing, as per the light in the ass Wilder. Not that this would definitely even be his plan, for that assignment.

The one I've been watching can't do any of that
