Probably not. Wouldn't hurt though.
Fighters can still get Mainstream endorsements here and there still.
Pac had a Hennessy ad not long ago. Canelo has had some ads here and there.

So how many black american boxing fans do you know?Steel City wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:53 Also, I think plenty of black american boxing fans only watch black fighters, and only concentrate on following the divisions they are doing well in -147 and 154 that's it. Notice how most of what they talk about is the Welterweight division, their whole interest in boxing revolves around it
LDBC are very ignorant and unknowledgeable about the Euro dominated divisions from middleweight to heavyweight, and the lower weights. I think Haney is around a lot of ignorant, dumb, racist LDBC types, and his mask slipped.

Getting a so called "Boxing fan" of any color to name you more than 5 active fighters is a reach. I'm impressed whenever ANYBODY I meet in person actually knows about Boxing. Most people just kinda pretend to know about it, and can only name you 2 or 3 names at best.oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 14:04So how many black american boxing fans do you know?Steel City wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:53 Also, I think plenty of black american boxing fans only watch black fighters, and only concentrate on following the divisions they are doing well in -147 and 154 that's it. The 2004 Olympics, and Andre Ward disagree.Steel City wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:55 There hasn't been a black american male Olympic Gold medalist in boxing since David Reid all the way back in 1996! , 24 years ago!
If you are so offended by Haney's statements, why are you imitating them?Steel City wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:55 There hasn't been a black american male Olympic Gold medalist in boxing since David Reid all the way back in 1996! , 24 years ago!

Or that! LMFAO!
i see where there coming from i mean ggg aint white ,and i am not sure about the klitschkos , everyone is ignorant its just some peoples are allowed to get away with it, i dont care i mean bhop said he would never lose to a white boi , it was fun seeing joe jr knocking him out the ringSteel City wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:36Alan Minters comment was 40 yeas ago, in this day and age you are never gonna hear Lomachenko/Usyk/Alvarez/Fury/Beterbiev/Taylor/Golovkin etc say ''I would never lose to a blackboy''.brilo33 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 13:06 honestly couldnt care one bit about his tweet, iam a white boi from london and been called it enought times, i wish more fighters said it, and i think like haney does too,i rate haney as boxer dont care what he thinks , i dont watch him for his speeches or brain , i watch him because i like the way he boxers , not being funny but a lot of people think on his level
They know if they did. Their career is gonna be severely damaged because of it. So a blackboy should never get away with it.
American blacks are much more racist/race obsessed and ignorant than other groups. Theres only 1 blackboy in the top 10 P4P atm, and theres 7 white guys. So it's very laughable if he means it by racial superiority considering how boxing is at the moment.
They've always been very ignorant and bizzare with this. I recall during Wladimir Klitschkos decade of terror reign, in his prime when he looked unbeatable. They would refer to David Price as the 'Great White Hope' . I found that very bizzare considering whites were completely dominating the division so there was no need for a white hope. They are race obsessed and just are deliberately ignorant
i dissagree i think fury is the first white(caucasian) heavey weight since i can remembergilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 14:54 The Klitschko's are white. GGG is half Korean right?
Would seem that being a native to an English speaking country helps with popularity though (at least in those countries) GGG may have gained more popularity in the U.S. than the Klitschko's did because he had more of an action style.
My jaw dropped too on that sentiment. So I guess some folks mean white anglo-saxons.
not sure what that proves the ma looks dark could be a bit asian as russia and the ukranike are over that way
Ok.brilo33 wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 15:32i dissagree i think fury is the first white(caucasian) heavey weight since i can remembergilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 14:54 The Klitschko's are white. GGG is half Korean right?
