Collins really got in his head for that fight
Yeah totally. He was freaked out from the off, all the hypnotism stuff and coming in and not looking at him. Completely spooked him. I don't get why saying "you can't hurt me" unsettled him so much. Never did understand why that bothered him, did he expect him to just fall over with the first tap? A man renown for his toughness and durability.

I thought the leprechaun was the Close rematch? I know they may have had one in the Collins fight too but I seem to remember it holding the fight up and him being really unsettled by it.

Wasn’t it the Watson outcome which was playing on his mind? I’m sure I remember reading an interview with Eubank a few years after the fight saying he was paranoid about hurting Collins and he’d then be locked inside a trance forever? Eubank’s fault for even believing hypnotism is real, I suppose

I agree, but you've got to give it to him it's unique and will probably never be tried again, due to obvious reasons

Yeah it probably sounded good in the sky meeting of retards “yeah look Scott’s a man of the people. Let’s show that he’s like an normal man. Just walking into work like any normal man on any normal day! Dressed in boxing gear! Topless wearing shorts and boxing gloves crossing the road like any normal man!” (Slap themselves on the back at how creative they are....) I mean Sky boxing has been so cringe for years.... Adam smith and his puppets should be fired. They got rid of the only half decent guy in Glenn McCrory
Calm down mate, its a ring entrance not the bloody apocalypse. Why does it make you so angry?

Maybe tomorrow you could get angry about the firmness of the canvass in the wlad vs fury fight.

Not particularly but what's that got to do with his ring walk? Why does Adam Smith need sacking purely because you don't like a ring entrance?

If you don't want to listen to them you could always use the mute button. It makes things go shhhh.

Adam Smith needs sacking cos he’s in charge of the whole sh1t show. And for his bomber comment 😂
What possessed him to say that ffs! That was a proper jaw dropping piece of 'commentary' That was definitely thought up beforehand as well! he never just spat out with that

Burns used to come to the ring to some cracking happy hardcore tunes :yay:

Used to like watching Pac head to the ring. Could never hear his music properly but just the way he looked genuinely relaxed and happy was class! You'd have thought he was jumping out to the ice cream van by the look of him

Mine is when Duran entered the ring for the Hagler fight in Las Vegas in 1983. Hagler had looked invincible after a sequence of crushing wins over Fully Obel, Caveman Lee, Tony Sibson and Wilford Scypion but Duran entered the ring and coolly acknowlegded the crowd like a man about to enjoy himself. He was home.

holyfield (1st lewis fight) - he's singing his heart out.

lewis (tyson fight) - we're gonna chase those crazy baldheads out of town. :OhYes:

eubank (benn rematch) - could take ya pick with eubank fights.

hatton (maussa fight) - veiled dig at franky no fighters in his choice of music.

vitali (sam peter fight)

Amazing how viciously he was knocked out after that palaver as well, one of the best KO's I've seen in a British ring.

I remember Eubank's entrance vs Thompson being electric.
Hatton vs Pedersen was peak MEN Blue Moon
Lennox coming in to 'The Big Payback' in the Rahman rematch was brilliant
Fury's no frills walk to the ring vs Wlad summed up his confidence at that time
Always liked Enzo's Tom Petty 'Won't Back Down'
Of current fighters, Dillian Whyte's Jaws intro is great

Spinks looked scared to death. It would have taken a man with massive cajones to have stood in the ring and seen that coming towards you and not be intimidated.

I imagine the atmosphere was crackling
x2. Best ring entrance ever.
