On the UK scene, Taylors rise is very impressive.

Britain is the most reserved place when it comes to matching prospects. Even USA can say Pete Rademacher when straight in at the top. Loads of Thai and East Euro prospects go in deep early.

Quite a few of the Thai's had been top Muay Thai contenders(even champions) before they switched to boxing though.

Fast paced int eh UK tends to be 15 fights to a World title. Obviously the lower weights can get there much quicker.

The recent years ones I remember thinking of were Charlie Edwards being slung in in his 9th fight. James Degale won British within 10 as well didn’t he?

Yeah that's right, he absolutely hammered Smith. I saw that one live, as Groves' Commonwealth win in his 9th fight.
