Dead right but Tyson must be licking his chops because it's a much easier night in prospect for him.

Holy sh1tballs wtf just happened, Whyte just got iced, that was a fcking monster of an uppercut, Whyte was kipped, it was billed as a battle of left hooks and that was how it played out, Whyte in total control looked composed jabbed well, was breaking Povetkin down to the body, dropped him with a quality left hook counter for first knockdown, steadied him with a couple rights just before, the left uppercut for second KD was top drawer, fancied Whyte to finish job in 5th but BANG good night Whyte, Povetkin's uppercut was a sleeper, that was literally out of nowhere,

Pov had a decent first outboxing Whyte at range then suddenly "grew old overnight"
Whyte was controlling him, hurting him while Pov's timing and balance were off.
Whyte was breaking Pov down cruelly - with 2 KDs in the 4th.

Pov looked like his career had a round or two left, then BOOM !
Jab put Whyte off balance and Pov threw the greatest punch of his long and storied career.

Hate to say it but Whyte has sailed close to the wind too many times, and this time it drowned him.

He didn't need to take this particular fight but as I have said before he loves the PPV money.

True, but he was also landing the better body shots and taking advantage of his superior reach.
Yeh.. he was landing nice body shots.

WBC said this week only Whyte would be in line for a shot at Fury, which should clear the way for Fury v Joshua.

I disagree. Povetkin wasn’t hurt at all from the first knockdown and true second knockdown happened with 15 seconds left in the round. He then got ironed out within 30’seconds the start of the following round.

You picked Pov bruh? Or just lots of fence sittin (well one is fat, but the other old)? Fair play if you nailed it :TU:
I picked Pov KO in the poll. I was overdue a good prediction.

I just can't see this slow-of-foot Povetkin troubling Fury with their height difference.

Reaffirming everything that’s great about boxing, thank God - after all those one-sided predictable mismatches, we get an out and out one punch massive shocking upset.

Forgetting the uncomfortable truth of course, I mean what else are we going to do

Povetkin deserves the true WBC belt more than Whyte. He nearly got it, but he was falsely accused in PEDs using. He would probably KO Wilder then.
