i have these except the Cervi fight. Both the other 2 were on my channel until the twats closed it down.
Im worried my channel will get shut down too...who was it that gave youtube the notification to issue a strike..or 3 ?!
You tube allow anything until the right holder makes a complaint. The company who closed me down waited until I had 3 fights of their copyright. One was a Tony Tubbs fight from around 1997 so it wasnt anything worth of note, also a Tyrone Trice fight again of no significance and the 3rd a Vinny Pazienza non title fight. The company is https://www.csisports.tv/ ive tried contacting them but get no help at all. Youtube close you down after 3 strikes. CSI did 3 quick complaints and i was gone within a day.
Out of interest, which Tony Tubbs fight was it?

He only had one fight in 97, with Mario Melo, but I'd be amazed if anyone had it!

I think Mario Melo. might be wrong but it was around that time but he only fought once in 97. The trice fight was with Ron Collins

CSI wont reply to any emails. There is another youtuber who i had a word with about them as he has had a lot of issues and he said they are ruthless. He is a member of ex-boxers, so if any of you guys on here are that guy it was me who messaged you and had a bit of a chat about it.

Hey, just thought I'd chime in since I'm interested in finding some good contacts for more recent fights. I.e, someone who either recorded or has access to first-gen , SP recorded stuff (or better...) shown in the USA from the early 90's to early 2000's. I'm willing to pay a fair price for stuff that I want. I'd also be willing to trade stuff that I have as well. Get at me!

Lee Groves was great for US 1st gen stuff recorded in the 80s and 90s, inc all PPV. Don't know if he's still in the game though, was 15, 20 years ago.

If you own the right of the videos, you wont have a problem, If you use someone else footage, and they get a complaint, what do you expect?

I have a boxing channel on YouTube which is good quality, "Boxing Classics By Gary Wilson" , it is mostly retro based and the quality is pretty good in most cases, https://www.youtube.com/c/BoxingFightsByGaryWilson. The fights have been taken from my own personal collection & not reused content from other channels.

What do you mean not stolen, from your own personal collection? You didn't film the fights??

Copyright laws should be abolished. If you don't want people to share your videos, don't post them online. Once something is online it should be fair game.

Big shout out to 'SP Baldry' btw. Don't know if he's alive or dead or if he's ever posted on here but he was a legend back in the 90s!

Anyone ever buy from the guy in Wales who advertised in Boxing Monthly for years? Paul was it? If so, any good?
