To me 4 of the 6 are interesting to various degrees
The Nery and Figueroa fights are beat downs vs guys with really padded records, but tbf usually the less interesting stuff on cards is even way worse than that and doesnt feature guys like Nery who are elite level
Overall easily in the upper upper tier of the cards we've seen for last several years, let alone this year alone
It's definitely a good card. It's just not worth 75 dollars.
Once you go over 50 bucks, something's gotta be pretty damn special to justify buying.

I see Roman vs Payano being a beat down too tbh, but can't begrudge Roman an easy one after his last few.
Micah was dropped by the guy Bam Rodriguez smashed in a round, so not sure he'll be much of a test for Casimero
Payano has usually given pretty good losing efforts, barring Inoue, and Roman is a very steady fighter but sometimes that comes with not really pushing things enough, so I figure it should at least start pretty competitive
Casimero should get to Micah in the end, but Jon Jon can blow hot and cold and I figure Duke should come with some ambition, which makes it one im insterested in

I don't get the idea that this card is "stacked". There may be 6 fights but 4 of them are OK at best.
OK, without intending to be cantankerous, what other card that was staged during 2020, that was as stacked as this one?
And if that’s challenging, to the point you can’t think of any, you’re more than welcome to list those events from 2019.
I guess “beauty really is in the eye of the beholder”, since you seem very difficult to please, despite their being MANY PPV events that had much weaker fight cards than this one.
Basically any of the WBSS cards were as stacked or more stacked than this.
Most of the boxing PPVs through history are a main event with a garbage undercard, which is why I've bought like 3 boxing PPVs in the last decade. This card is not really any different, it's just got 2 small main events instead of 1 big one.
Fights of the caliber that I could watch any weekend on ESPN+ or Showtime or Fox don't add any value to a PPV for me.
I'v seen Casimero at -700 to -940. Micah is an unbeaten dude who fought in the olympics, he should come with ambition and Casimero can be on and off, and is usually exciting anyway. It's pretty resepctable for an undercard fight I think
I'm surprised Payano is such a huge dog, I guess he's not trusted much moving up in weight at this stage of his career. He's a solid fighter though and should have his moments. It's not really all that of an exciting fight but both guys are capable and i figure it should be competitive for a bit at least
Ya Figueroa fight is big mismatch, the Vasquez guy a few times has barely scraped by random pretty bad journeymen, drawn with 1 of them, and lost 80-71 to Payano a few fights ago when he faced someone with a pulse the first time
Nery's opponent is better than that, but still a big mismatch it looks like
I've never seen Micah fight but from his record he's had multiple close decisions against total scrubs and now he's suddenly getting a title shot. I think he's a pretty huge underdog for a reason.
I thought he won 7-8 rounds vs Snow and 2 of the cards were 7-3 and 8-2, the 5-5 card was very generous to Snow
After that he has 2 close decision wins, one over Matt Chanda who retired straight after at 7-1 and then the other over Jose Santos Gonzales, who is a pretty good test usually. I didn't see either of these so can't say much, but none of these results really suggest to me that he's not gonna be able to give Casimero a fight, tons of times a guy with some tough earlier career fights deliver in the big moment, and Casimero himself is inconsistent, like when he got tooled by that Jonas dude who subsquently got shut out by Ancjas
