I think with Bazza he’s not just any former fighter but a former world champion. He treats those he deems beneath him as scum. I’ve never met him but I used to be a big fan. Whenever I’ve mentioned him to anyone whose met him or dealt with him, he gets bad press.

In business, you are completely alone, and professional boxing more than any other sport forces its participants to be businessmen.

If this allegation is true, it makes Bazza's efforts towards establishing a fighter's union all those years ago seem particularly cynical.
