I rarely frequent that board, so I didn’t see it.

That said, I still think that people will complain about Fury facing Kabayel.

Only time will tell whether I’m right or not.
When the options are Kabayel or Takam, it's understandable that people would want the unbeaten more fresher one who would be more in his prime..
Yeah, sorry, I meant that people will complain more about Fury facing Kabayel rather than an established name.

And I'll also trust your opinion about the forum generally preferring Kabayel over Takam, since I rarely frequent the B&I section.

As a Brit I'd like to see him fight Price. It has a now or never feel to it, and there has always been a sense of that was a fight they both should have had on the come up.

But I recognise he would probably get a lot of stick if that fight was made, given he is now the WBC title holder.

I would like to see Agit over Takam. Taller, younger, and the win over Chisora is also a positive.

I know some Americans would call for him to face Hunter, but given Povetkin and Whyte still have to settle the mandatory status it would be a bit ridiculous for Hunter to jump ahead of them both based on bringing the American market alone.

Kabayel is unbeaten, brings the German market, and held the Euro title. It makes the most sense, imho.

Price, are you kidding ?
If you want to give Tyson Fury an easy fight just say it.
Don't pretend like it's some kind of colossal head to head match up we can't wait to see.

Kabayel is a solid fighter, young and fresh too. A lot of people will just trash him because they dont follow close enough to know him well. He'd be about the 3rd best guy Fury's beaten after Wlad and Wilder

It's warm up.
I'm ok with it, delays any kind of Fury next fight announcement too.
I bet all three teams are negotiating a multi fight package.
Fury, Joshua and Wilder.

Probably yes. After all, he was able to outbox Chisora clearly. No other Fury's victim has such ahievement.

I would like to see him fight the best he can, but at short notice it's not likely to happen. Therefore Price is just a sure, why not kind of fight.

Price can still hit hard and I'd give him more of a punchers chance than Takam.

Besides, Price was always a what if fight. I have no expectation of Price winning, but it would probably be somewhat entertaining and put to bed something which has been lingering since their amateur days.

But Kabayel is the best we can hope for I reckon.

Kabayel is a good option for a domestic tune-up: young, undefeated, and has Chisora on his resume. He can be better than many young, prime guys Fury has faced since the beginning of his career.

If he's the 3rd best guy Fury has fought, what does that say about Fury at this point?

Kabeyel is plain. Not big. Not fast. Not Strong. His best win was over Chisora who wasn't up for this fight and it was very close. Let's not hype him too much, he's just an above average unedited heavyweight. A very safe pick. Not even ranked among the top 25 in Box Rec computer rankings.

Did you watch the Chisora fight or did you look up the scores? Kabayel outboxed him clearly. He moved well and was much faster than Chisora.

Complete utter nonsense! You haven't even watched the fight, have you?

Chisora was in shape and gave his all when he was comprehensively defeated by Kabayel. And the likes of Carl Froch and Darren Barker believed that Agit won the fight by a proverbial mile.

Even Adam Smith admitted that Kabayel boxed beautifully on the back foot.

Chisora knew he'd lost the fight before the scorecards were even announced. He even admitted he'd lost the fight during the post-fight interviews.

Also, Kabayel's win over Rudenko was more convincing than Zhang's one, against whom Rudenko was matched after the Kabayel bout.
