Wow those odds seem to be good to be true. Great value.littlepug wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020, 17:45Im also leaning to Joyce late ko so had a look on Betfair and they have Joyce ko rounds 7-12 at 9-1 ! My eyes nearly popped out of my head, is it just me that thinks that is amazing value?Stanny Onis wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020, 12:55 I certainly wouldnt bet on it cause of Dubois' power and ram rod jab.
But my gut feeling is this is too early for Dubois and Joyce stops him late. Joyce has always been underrated but he has a brilliant stamina and workrate.

Wow, I wish the bookies thought it was a 50/50 like the fellow fighters seem to.
Dubois by stoppage before 8. The difference in offensive capabilities will be brutally obvious early, but I expect Joe to be game as long as it lasts.

JOHN FURY
I’m a little bit worried about whether it’s too early for Daniel Dubois. Joe Joyce is a big, strong seasoned man. We know he’s got a good engine and he can hold a shot well. It’s a hard one, but for my money it’s a bit too soon for Daniel Dubois.
As we've said before, this is an extremely brave move from Dubois.
First Gorman and now this? JF is a bit cautious but no doubt this is a real fight.

There was nothing intimidating about Gorman. This is a step up from Nathan for sure, but fights aren’t fought on paper. Dubois is a lot better and it will show on the night.Thomastearns wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 14:16 JOHN FURY

He’s 1/3 now, so I struggle to understand how he was as short as 2/15. Are you talking nonsense again ?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 13:17
Daniel Dubois rated as having an 88.2% (2/15) chance of victory over Joe Joyce? Gimme a break!

I’m picking Joyce to score a monumental upset to defeat Dubois, not because of his size and experience advantages, but mainly due to a gut instinct (based on DDD’s lack of credentials).
It’s going to be a tough and gruelling bout, whereby either fighter can win, but I really can’t help favouring Joyce.

This isn't the legalised Crawford v Brook Las Vegas money transfer, this one is
a real fight, quite unpredictable.
Both are easy to hit and both have power.
This could easily end in the first round, especially if Joe comes in too casual.
On the other hand what if Joyce can take Dubois' power? What happens then?
One things certain, with millions at stake for the winner, there'll be plenty of nerves on both sides.

I think we all know who Joyce is. It's Dubois we don't know.
My hunch is Joyce who can punch and take one puts pressure on Dubois, and gets to him in the middle rounds.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce - November 28, 2020 on ESPN+
I’m predicting a DDD win. I’m hoping he relies on rhe jab. I want to see a heavyweight jab masterclass. If Joyce has a ridiculously good chin perhaps he can cause trouble for DDD down the stretch but I’m expecting DDD to be composed, as in, manage his energy output.

Joyce up 3-2 through five on my card.
Dubois needs more of that last round. Press the issue and force Joyce to exchange shots.
