Even dripping water wears away stone, so do you think that Dubois sealed his own fate by choosing to ignore and walk through Joyce’s jab?
Joe’s jab didn’t look like much, but it kept landing and Daniel didn’t actively try to block it.

The odds move and I quoted odds that others verified at the time of my submissions.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020, 19:34He’s 1/3 now, so I struggle to understand how he was as short as 2/15. Are you talking nonsense again ?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑24 Nov 2020, 13:17
Daniel Dubois rated as having an 88.2% (2/15) chance of victory over Joe Joyce? Gimme a break!
If you’re brave enough to avoid judging via hindsight, which you clearly aren’t, you would’ve challenged me at the time and I would have immediately provided a link to justify my claim.
I am always capable of doing this and you know this too.
Are you far too scared to read my posts in this thread, fact-check them and then admit the rather obvious fact I’m right?
No, seriously, people mocked me for ridiculing the betting odds, but now you’re telling me the odds I quoted were blatant lies?
Seriously, is that the route you’ve chosen to take?
Others previously argued that the horrendously pro-Dubois betting odds were warranted and aggressively criticise me for believing otherwise, but now that my prediction is ultimately proven right, you’re pretending that Dubois was never the huge favourite others believed to be the case.
Can you not read? Do you not follow the sport of boxing?
I’m allowed to mock you for your dishonesty, because you hate it when I’m proven right.
Here’s a novel idea, quote my posts, use way back machine to verify their accuracy and then apologise to me for being right!

Daniel Dubois is a “rose”, because he looks beautiful to the naked eye, but he’s cosmetic and wilts under intense heat and pressure.
In stark contrast, Joe Joyce is “a thorn”, which is less impressive to look at, but remains sharp and on point under practically any harsh conditions.
Daniel Dubois quit tonight!

First reports are that Dubs was rushed to the hospital with possible nerve damage in his left eye.

Do you want to pretend that Dubois didn’t quit?
You hate the fact my prediction was right, to the point you’re adamant to ignore reality.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce - November 28, 2020 on ESPN+
I would hope that's not the case for him. He still has potential, and gained valuable experience tonight even in defeat. Would be a damn shame if he had a career altering injury like that.
I didn't watch the fight, but I'm sure it was competitive, and Dubois had his moments yes?

Even the BT Sports pundits agreed that Dubois quit!
Even Carl Frampton argued that Dubois deserves to receive a lot of criticism for quitting!
Let me pose the same question to you, can you not see and acknowledge the fact that Dubois quit?

We all saw Dubs quit. You said he quit from 'intense heat and pressure.' I'd like you to explain that. I watched the fight. You said you did too. You don't need to lean on what BT Sports commentators said. I didn't see intense heat and pressure make Dubs quit. I saw a great jab that busted up his eye in a fight that most had him (Dubs) winning. So? Please explain.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:08Dubois quit. He quit under a very small amount of inconvenience!
Dubois is even worse than a rose, he’s far more fragile.
And by the way, did you not read my post about Joyce’s jab?
You seem to persistently criticise me, even though it’s clear you ignore most of my posts.
Dubois wouldn’t have quit if he didn’t fûckïng hate the pain he had to endure!
The BT Sports commentators passionately believe that Dubois should be criticised for quitting and so should you!!!!
I’ve never seen a fighter quite under such trivial circumstances!!!

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce - November 28, 2020 on ESPN+
Thank you. I appreciate that. For the record, Dubois quit after taking 500 jabs to his eye which looks like a broken orbital bone and possible nerve damage. He was winning the fight on most scorecards, albeit closer than that one blind judge. I had him up 1 round. If it's not the worse case scenario, he'll be back. He's only 23 and needs more seasoning, which hopefully he'll get.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:15OK, I’ll concede that Dubois didn’t quit due to intense heat and pressure.oogiebe wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:11We all saw Dubs quit. Dubois was excessively over-hyped and deserves to be criticised for quitting. It’s going to take a while for him to rebuild his reputation, because it’s in tatters at the moment.

Fair enough, let’s just end the conversation here.
I made a prediction and was proven right.
You’re a Dubois fanboy and believe he shouldn’t be criticised for quitting tonight.
We’ll just end our conversation there.
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Joe Joyce - November 28, 2020 on ESPN+
No, I asked you if you saw the fight. I questioned it based on your post about intense heat and pressure. You answered appropriately on that question. Never did I say you didn't see the fight. And no, I'm not a Dubs fanboy. He quit. I was shocked, but upon further review of the facts, I understand the excruciating pain an orbital fracture can cause, and nerve pain is far worse than anything else I've ever personally experienced and I've had a few times I've dealt with it. You made a prediction that was shared by many many others. Stop patting yourself on the back and maybe folks on here would be nicer to you. Or at least more tolerant. Now we can end the conversation.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:28But you previously pretended I didn’t even see the fight and now you’re agreeing with my commentary?oogiebe wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:25We all saw the fight. Dub definitely quit but justifiably so. I think that last shot direct to the closed-shut-eyeball scared him. There’s quitting and then there’s smart quitting. But it was a quit nonetheless.

Dubois wouldn’t have quit if he didn’t fûckïng hate the pain he had to endure!
If you felt that Daniel wasn’t inconvenienced, then he quit far too easily.
If you believe, like me, that he fückïng hated the pain he had to endure and quit accordingly, then he quit under intense heat and pressure.
Either way, I don’t really care.
My prediction was correct and even you concede the factual accuracy of my interpretation about the effectiveness of Joyce’s jab.
If you don’t like me telling you “I told you so”, then you should bother attacking every single opinion I hold!!!
And then attacking again whenever I’m ultimately proven right!!!
You can’t have your cake and eat it!!!
