AJ and Fury are going to fight next year and the WBO will go vacant, so it will be Joyce-Usyk for the vacant title. Joyce might not win but Usyk didn't really impress me against Chisora -David Haye did far better against a fresher version- and so he'd be a live dog. Fwank with his salty rematch bollocks... in fact i'd say fury is also just longer, not overall bigger. fury is a lot softer at 270 than joyce was

So that sounds like a solid plan to me.

Apologies if I came across aggressive and it's not aimed at you in particular, but I just made a lot of money off of people who've only ever probably watched Joyce-Usyk and thought "he's sh*t" without understanding the context of that fight and the levels both blokes were at. Like I said, keep slating the lad so the bookies think he's rubbish too and I get good odds. And that, I think, is what happened.brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:14calm down mate , not sure what your getting at, i like joyce to i hope he gets a shot at everthing ,i was just talking about out comes of fights, i hope joe gets to fight for world title , you have me wrong , its the fight game i hope every fighter gets a good paydayCyclops wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:07How many times do I have to say Usyk had already won gold in the Olympics and Joyce had been an amateur for two years when that fight happened. 8 years have passed since then, and Joyce was robbed of his own Olympic gold? Shades of Wilder suddenly wanting Dillian Whyte. Yoka can jog on too.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
I'm on the fence with Usyk, but Joe will annihilate Yoka.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
Realistically probably not, but I'd like to see an old rivalry reignited.

no probs, ive seen that fight but i rate usyk very highly ands thats not a slur on joyce , i hope joyce beats him, i am chatting out comes which mean nothing, there just opinions, but the good thing now though is he is being talked in those opinions nowCyclops wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:21Apologies if I came across aggressive and it's not aimed at you in particular, but I just made a lot of money off of people who've only ever probably watched Joyce-Usyk and thought "he's sh*t" without understanding the context of that fight and the levels both blokes were at. Outside of boxing fans I think only Fury and AJ are big names. I don’t know what Joyce’s situation promoter wise is but Usyk’s with Eddie and if Eddie could sell a couple of gatekeepers like Whyte and Chisora to the masses as a ppv with presumably big purses for the fighters then he can do the same with these two I reckonbrilo33 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 21:02cant see that happening i dont think the money is there , there not big enough names outside boxing fansCaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 20:56 He said it himself in the post fight interview ... Whyte and Chisora are known whyte fought aj chisora fought everyone, joe joyce aint known usyk maybe a bit more from fighting bellew , in boxing terms its great fight interesting one aswell,CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 22:15Outside of boxing fans I think only Fury and AJ are big names. Chisora was probably best known to the masses for the Haye press conference brawl and I don’t think Whyte even now is very well known at all.brilo33 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 22:20Whyte and Chisora are known whyte fought aj chisora fought everyone, joe joyce aint known usyk maybe a bit more from fighting bellew , in boxing terms its great fight interesting one aswell,CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 22:15Outside of boxing fans I think only Fury and AJ are big names. I think any fighter who gets to an Olympic final like Joyce did will probably be known to more casuals than all but the most high profile pros.
I agree it would be a fascinating fight. If Joe can deal with a craftsman like Usyk then it begs the question can he deal with a craftsman his own size like Fury. Conversely if Usyk can bamboozle a giant like Joyce then people will believe he can do the same to AJ.
Really hope it gets made.

Defend his titles and make some cash headlining a few shows.

Chisora and Whyte are ranked over him, and they look the most achievable opponents (along with Hunter). Stopping Del Boy and Dillian in first half of 2021 would give him a good case for a title fight this time next year.

Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
There will be a lot variables as to what happens next, I don't see Usyk giving up on chasing down his title shot, and rightly so too, therefore the only way I see Usyk v Joyce happening anytime soon is if the WBO title becomes vacant. Also there is the issue of JJ's promotional and TV contract and potentially queensbury and Matchroom having to hammer out some sort if agreement for the fight although it may go straight to pursue bids. For me Joe should look to make a defence of the European title, I believe Huck is the mandatory, and move on from there.
Re: what exactly does joe the jabber do next?
Usyk, Ortiz or any top 10 guy.
Or his Olympic rivals like Yoka, Hrgovic and Ajagba.
