He isnt better than maidana
Maidana would have knocked his block off if they fought anywhere between 2012-14 for sure. Assuming Brook didn’t get away with egregious holding a la Devon Alexander.

Floyd had like 1 shutout card in the last 8-9 years of his career, he usually gave away some rounds, either at the start when getting a look at the opponent or near the end when way ahead. brook is a really skillful boxer but lacking in the tough stuff, i think he'd take some rounds for sure, but ultimately floyd is just so amazingly good , too good

Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: 05 Dec 2020, 20:00 Howd you score brook v porter?

https://www.ringtv.com/352719-insider-s ... wn-porter/

He went and got a decision in another country, majority judges and media had him winning
What’s the majorly?

And besides, the British media (i.e. Sky & Box-Nation) believed that Brook lost the Porter fight.

And regardless as to whether anyone disagrees, it’s an undeniable fact that Brook has never scored a clear-cut decisive victory over any universally regarded top-ten world-rated fighter.

Finally, even if we agree to disagree about the outcome of the Porter bout, can you name a top-ten world-rated fighter (not named Shawn Porter) that Kell Brook has beaten?

This isn’t an emotional discussion, whereby we’re discussing feelings, I only care about the facts.
Bizier was his mandatory. Ibf had him top 10 right?

I wouldnt rate him, but it is an undeniable fact a world sanctioning organization had him in their top 10. Agree?
So you’re basically agreeing with me, because it’s clear that Bizier definitely wasn’t universally regarded as a top-ten world-rated fighter.

We got there in the end and it’s good for these discussions to reach their natural conclusion where we both see eye-to-eye. :TU:

Im not agreeing

my opinion, though the best opinion, isnt a fact. A fact is a universally recognized sanctioning body rated jo io dan and bizier. So if you are going fact based.....

What you’ve written doesn’t relate to anything I’ve claimed though, does it?

Christopher Lovejoy was recently rated as a top-15 fighter by the WBA, that doesn’t mean that ESPN, TBRB, The RING, BoxRec, the media in general or anyone from this forums considered him as being a world-rater fighter.

Don’t go quoting the rankings of governing bodies ever again, because that’s just silly and I know for sure you already know this!
