You’ve actually just proved my point.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 13:25Ok, so you believe it’s USUALLY everyone else who’s wrong and not you. Got itEnlightened-One wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 13:04Admittedly, it’s partially my own fault, because I usually anticipate the resulting furore whenever I quote inconvenient and irrefutable truths that are likely to offend fiercely loyal die-hard fans.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 12:40EO, do you ever wonder if so many people on Boxrec constantly taking exception to the things you say might reflect more on you than everyone else?
Or do you genuinely think it's everyone else that must be wrong?
I really enjoy discussing provocative and controversial subject matters. The only alternative is to become a Lemming, join the herd and exist in an echo chamber.
That said, I do try to tread carefully, by predominantly sticking to the facts instead of citing personal opinions, because it would only serve to weaken the point I’m trying to convey.
It’s obviously far easier to attack and discredit someone’s personal opinions about subjective matters, rather than objective truths of reality that cannot possibly be misinterpreted.
However, I do feel that people over-react and are far too sensitive, compelling them to resort to insults out of sheer frustration about the accuracy of my claims, which means I cannot shoulder the entire blame for any heated discussions.
After all, facts don’t care about feelings! To be fair, I’m one of the few people that frequents this forum that admits to being wrong on occasion. And I’ve regularly apologised. It’s also extremely rare for me to “throw the first stone”, because it’s usually others that resort to personal attacks.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 12:40Seems like a funny way to look at the world old boy! Some humility at times wouldn't go amiss. Might earn you a bit more respect, which you seem to crave![]()
The thing is though, people accuse me of being a GGG “hater”, but nobody can actually quote any of my posts that are either factually-inaccurate or particularly derogatory in nature.
There’s not a single human being alive today capable of providing any proof of my alleged "hatred" of GGG.
And to be fair, whilst we rarely see eye-to-eye, do you really expect me to apologise for something I haven’t actually done? How does the word “humility” apply to someone in that situation?
You didn’t read any of the words I wrote.
And you intentionally and dishonestly misrepresented my reply.
Interesting! I didn’t expect you to perfectly illustrate the point I conveyed with such remarkable precision.
Thanks for that!

You said that you believe you’re wrong ‘on occasion’ . Which implies that the rest of the time, the times when you’re not wrong, make up the majority of the time, despite your views being challenged continually and comprehensively by numerous people in the majority of threads you participate in.
Thus, my assertion that you believe it’s MOSTLY everyone else who’s wrong and not you , is entirely accurate

Just give your opinion. It’s a boxing forum.
If you’re not gonna give ur own opinion, what’s the point being here? Anyone can search facts.

I'm sure he's loving all this attention. That's his primary goal. If we'd just all ignore him, he'd leave.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑04 Jan 2021, 13:56 Just give your opinion. It’s a boxing forum.

GGG vs Murata in Japan? Some time ago GGG wanted to fight Murata.
Re: Canelo Alvarez vacates WBA Middleweight Belt
Golovkin will destroy Murata. Mung gotta be more interesting. Charlo is the best option.
Re: Canelo Alvarez vacates WBA Middleweight Belt

Nice scenario. I think Charlo would move up at 168 lbs to get Canelo, and Golovkin may be elevated as the full WBC mw champion if he beats Munguia. I think Munguia is rated as No 1 challenger for WBC and WBO.gregregegg wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 22:50Yep, Murate for WBA. then Demetrius Andrade can move up to fight billy jo so that GGG vs Munguia for vacant WBO.... How would people see a Murata vs Eubank jr fight going?
Re: Canelo Alvarez vacates WBA Middleweight Belt
What do you mean by "elevated"? Golovkin is the IBF and IBO champ, he doesn't hold any version of the WBC title...Nice scenario. Yeah you're right. Munguia just holds the 'World Boxing Organisation Inter-Continental Middle Title' and he's ranked as No. 1 challenger for wbc and wbo titles. GGG would have to fight Chenko (No 2 wbc) and Liam Williams (No 2 wbo).

I thought that Munguia as the wbc No 1 mw challenger holds the interim wbc mw title. Munguia just holds the 'World Boxing Organisation Inter-Continental Middle Title'.

no 1 ranked doesn't automatically hold the interim belt. You fight for the interim belt.apollo creed wrote: ↑08 Jan 2021, 07:12 I thought that Munguia as the wbc No 1 mw challenger holds the interim wbc mw title. Munguia just holds the 'World Boxing Organisation Inter-Continental Middle Title'.
If Charlito vacates, then it should be #1 vs. #2 for the vacant belt.
No mando has been ordered yet either. so no need to have an interim belt.
