The best fighter he beat was bowe 2
How can beating the best fighter he faced not be his best win? Maybe you're talking about your favorite win. I don't see it.

Really? How come?
Its the win that defined his career...you have to remember, Tyson was still very good at this moment, and he was 4-0 with 4 kos after his comeback. It was also a very hard fought fight that took out a lot of what Tyson had left.

The Bowe win tome was almost as impressive as was the Moorer one.

It was a mismatch, great event, not a great fight.

Holyfield-Tyson I? At the time, everyone thought it was a mismatch all right...and Tyson was going to kill Evander..

Yeah a lot hindsight going on with tyson v holyfield 1

That was a massive win and upset. Holyfield was washed up and tyson had just knocked out bruno and seldon easily. Holyfield was stopped by bowe, had a heart condition, and looked lethargic against bobby czyz

Odds opened 25 to 1 and fell to 5 to 1 by fight night.

Holyfield's heart condition turned to be OK eventually, he had been misdiagnosed with it.

And he battered Czyz in a quite brutal fashion.

Best KO win = Mike Tyson
Best Win = Bowe II

Evander has a good resume of wins, that is balanced by a resume of losses and PED abuse.

A lot of his losses came after 2000 as well. When should he have retired?

I believe the Riddick Bowe second fight was his best win. The scene was bizarre with fanman crashing into the ring. My dad ordered one of those machines but never learned how to operate it. Yes Bowe may have been Holyfields kryptonite so when he defeated him that was a great and monumental victory for him.

Are you of the opinion that 90s heavyweights were PED-free bar Holyfield? If so may I interest you in a bridge I'm selling?

Holyfield entered the 21st Century with all of 4 defeats, 3 of them against men he also beat. 4th loss when he was 37 (!!) versus peak Lennox, narrowly.
